So I have a 13' Plate Mercedes E-Class. Recently I've had a few issues with it which was the power steering leaking which was repaired. But ever since that and even before, the steering wheel would naturally fall into position off towards the left, so it would constantly pull towards the left. I've had wheel alignment, but still the issue is there. Any advice?

I did my CBT a few years ago but due to a change in circumstances, I never made use of it. Now I'm reverting back to the old situation and am looking at going for my CBT again and getting a 125cc bike as my commuter. Ordinarily I cycle to the nick and back, but it has become a bit of a chore getting back at 3-7am and as we all know, winter is coming. It has also made it a bit of a pain getting to other stations as I use public transport and that's not available 24/7 like the emergency services are! Thus, a motorbike looks like a good, affordable, choice (I got rid of my car in the Summer). However, a downside is the lack of storage capacity compared to a car... How the h…

Unfortunately the traffic on my way to work has got very bad. I was thinking of getting an electric bike (http://www.xkuty.com/en/). Anyone have one of these? There does not seem to be anywhere to put a pannier but the tyres look nice and thick. But I would not be able to bring it on the train so maybe a foldable electric scooter would be better.

Hi everyone just wondering if I will have triggered a red light camera. Basically I was at some junction lights were green so I went through, the cars in front of me stopped so I did as well still in the junction (it was not a box junction I.e. no yellow markings) I was near to the other set of lights to finish the box junction when traffic stopped moving and the lights went red. There was a red light camera so will I have been flashed even though I went through on green originally

Hi all, My Head Chef was asking me about Quad Bikes, assuming that because I own a Motorbike, I must know about Quads lol He's interested in buying one, and was asking me if He'd need a bike licence or if he could ride one on his Car licence. And if there were any other restrictions regarding them. I said I'd ask on here for him, so here I am. I don't know when he passed his test if that makes any odds, he's 28 and has a Full UK Car licence, but No Motorcycle licence. Thanks all in advance for any help, I'll keep googling and searching government and DVLA websites, but if anyone's got the knowledge to hand I'd appreciate it.

Can anyone help me get my head around the changes that have been made to the rules for learning to ride a bike. As I can no longer do a Direct Access course as I'm not old enough anymore (should have done it before the changes), does that mean I have to spend two years on a 125cc before I can ride anything decent, or because I'm older than 19, can I learn on anything provided it's restricted? I don't quite understand this A1 and A2 stuff.

Hello. In 1987, when I was 17, I used to use a 125cc motor cycle on 'L' plates. In those days I could continue to ride the 125cc for 2 years. By the end of the 2 years I would either need to pass a full bike test, enabling me to ride any bike without 'L' plates or pass my car test which would enable me to ride up to a 125cc on 'L' plates for ever. I passed my car test so I was entitled to ride my 125cc on 'L' plates for life. After this date the CBT was introduced. Anyone who was entitled to ride a moped or up to a 125cc before the CBT was introduced didn't have to take a CBT, only people applying to do so after the CBT was introduced had to take a CBT. After moving hous…

This is about civillian courses btw not Police related. I started learning to drive since April 2012 , albeit I took a bit of a break recently due to a lack of funds in the household kitty... but soon enough I am due a hefty tax refund and want to turn pink now... so that I can move onto my next aim... Learn how to ride two wheels! :D I just wanted to ask, does anyone have any experience in intensive driving courses? and are they recommended? seeing as I have gone through a fair amount of lessons and am used to the road a bit and my driving instructor is currently on a holiday for several months , I thought I may as well plug up the gap over the August month and take …

Hi All, Just to be clear I am not a member of the force nor am I considering joining although I have great respect for you all. I am posting here in the hopes of finding a little help and advice from a motorbike expert. I was arrested in April for Dangerous driving on a motorbike, I was with 3 others and accused of pulling wheelies on the M25. I can hand on heart say that I personally was doing no such thing and have been bailed, rebailed and now told I will need to attend the station tomorrow to be charged. The 3 bikes I were with were all 1000CC super sports, 2 R1's and a Blade, all with bhp of around 175. I am 23 and much younger than the other guys, I was riding …

I'm hoping someone can help me. I'm going through the process of attaining my D1 licence through the Police. They have me booked in to take the theory test next month however, despite repeated asking, they have not sent me a copy of the theory book. Now I've downloaded multiple apps which claim to be valid for theory tests taken after April 2014 but, to my mind, they are wrong when it comes to questions about SORN. As you will know, SORN declarations used to be valid for only 12 months. However, as you may well also know, this changed a few months ago and now the SORN status lasts indefinitely until you either tax, sell or scrap the car. And now the crux of my questio…
