So I own a 2011 Renault Clio and since I've owned it, I've only diven about 3000 miles in the past year. Should I service it considering I've owned it for a year? Found places where it would be serviced for £150+

All, I was discussing driving to the woods with my dog with someone recently, when they asked me if I had a cage separating the boot from the rear seats. I told them no and thought nothing of it. However, the hound has figured out that he actually can climb over the headrests and into the back of the car. When it's moving. I have been considering "upgrading" to an Estate anyway - does anyone know of any that come with some sort of cage or other separation between the boot and the rear compartment? Ta, Adam

Basically, has anyone done this journey on the train? Looking at organising a trip to Leipzig (to take in Colditz amongst other things) and trying to work out how easy it is to get to if we fly into Berlin.

Hi all, I am looking to further my driving skills and was wondering if anyone had done either IAM or Rospa, or if which one you'd recommend, or if anyone can point out an alternative it would be much appreciated. PCW

Does anybody happen to know if any driving qualifications gained as a special/regular affect car insurance premiums. It was just something I was pondering as my premium currently sits at an evil £3k per year mark! :new_violin: :new_thmbdn2: Definitely would be a nice little benefit on the side :new_shades:

Good evening all! I wondered if someone would be able to assist me at all. I have recently bought myself a 1993 Kawasaki GPZ 500S, and it has after market indicators on (ones like these http://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/74073) I was riding home the other day and went to indicate right, however on my dash it just came up with a solid orange light for the turn signal (this normally flashes) so I knew a bulb had probs gone. I checked the bike and sure as the front right indicator was not lighting up, however the rear one was lighting up but staying on which I thought was a bit odd? Anyhow I changed both the bulbs (it uses these http://www.ebay.…

Hi all I have bought the following 125cc motorbike (as pictured) and have passed my CBT which means I have to display a front and rear "L" plate until I have passed the bike test. Now as far as I am aware, the law states that the "L" plate must be 7 inches by 7 inches so my question, how do I attach it to the front of this bike? I have bought a self adhesive one to stick onto the wheel guard but I don't think the plate will be 7x7 as some edges may have to fold down the sides. Am I right in thinking that is incorrect and therefore illegal? (I am aware of the forums disclaimer and will not blame anyone if I follow advice given).

I've just bought a 50cc Yahama Aerox Scooter. However, I found out that it's been derestricted. Do I have to get it re-restricted in order to be insured and legal to drive?

I have a private plate on retention that I want to sell. The V778 is confusing! I am the grantee and the buyer would be the nominee. The retention expires 17th Oct this year. Do I send the V778 (with my parts filled in) to the new owner and let them send it to the DVLA office? I will offer to post them the plates with the private reg on
