Hey all Was just wondering if anyone knew of anywhere to park (safely) a motorcycle near Southwark Borough station. I know I could park inside but not sure about how the gates etc are opened

Hi So I'm looking for a new car. I have £10k for something reliable, nice looking, big enough boot for my colie and big enough for a small family (me, my partner and the baby that's on the way). Need something that's not too heavy on insurance because I'm only 21. I'm willing to spend around 7-8 grand on a car and then save the rest for insurance etc. I've looked at a skoda octavia, ford Mondeo, Audi a4.. So things along those lines. I've tried adding to market place but for some reason I cannot add a new topic. Does anyone have any ideas the best place to get a reasonably cheap drivers side wind mirror (not the glass, I'm on about the whole thing. Some scroat decided mine looked nice and took it sometime last night) for an '03 plate Black 1.2 Renault Clio, the mirror must be compatable with an electric adjustor and not the stick version. OR If anyone happens to own a spare complete drivers side wing mirror give me a shout and I'll gladly have it off your hands. (P.S. all normal lines of reporting etc have been taken and insurance are being twerps and due to the little cost it isn't covered )

Let me set the scene for you... I'm on the dual carriageway traveling at 60mph in my 1.2 Renault Clio (2002 MK2). I decide I want to overtake Miss Daisy in front of me before the roundabout I'm approaching, so I put the foot down (not that it does much in my Clio).... Suddenly, I think (not sure) the clutch disengages and this happens (more description on the video) So I have to pull over and wait for the problem to rectify its self. This has happened more than once and it's getting very irritating. Does anybody know what's going on here?

OK so as many will know I'm a lifetime BMW lover, but since I started using a scooter to get to and from work (that's another story), my lovely beemer just sits on the drive looking unloved, and I hardly ever make use of it. Ok Chaps and chapesses, looking for some advice. I want a bike to compliment my running activity...not doing anything serious such as triathllons etc, just looking for something that I can commute to work on (30 mile round trip) and trips out using roads, national cycleways and occasional towpath type use. I'm able to get a very good deal on a new Toyota Auris Hybrid T-Spirit + Navigation; £159 per month (brother in law works for Toyota). Only downside I can see is I have to take their Insurance @ £350 which is a touch more than I would pay if I could go open market but I'd never match the leasing deal buying privately... If I do the deal then I can sell my current car privately for ~£2800 so a bit of rainy day money, but of course at the end of it I'll have no car. One year lease; servicing thrown in. basically i had my motorbike nicked, recovered but out of what i assume spite and for a laugh they smashed the front of it off and damaged the wiring, so much so id say its a writeoff. first of all i was shocked i have to pay for it to get it back, or even for it to be disposed of. basically if i was to do either it would cost my excess. in reality how much if i claimed do you get back of the premium, sat you were valued at £1000 what kind of costs do they take? and how badly will my premium go up? just asking as considering (to massive cost to me, but saving in long run?) simply not claiming it as a full loss and disposing of it myself, buying a cheap one to repla…

Hi guys, Just looking for a bit of advice. I have just recently moved house from Merseyside to the West Midlands. I have applied online to change my address on my driving licence, and the DVLA informed me it has been sent for validation checks and that my new licence should arrive in the post within 10 days. Now, my vehicle tax disk expires 30th this month. It states that I cannot apply to renew my tax disc online because the address on the V5 Certificate is not the same as my current address. It tells me to fill in section 6 of my V5 (New keeper or change of address) and to send it with my application for tax. So if I go to the post office tomorrow, do I just inform …

I WANT A VAUXHALL INSIGNIA NOW!!!! Since my car insurance is about to go up with the wide being on it and passing her test I wonder if the above will make any real difference? I'm thinking about joining it but would just like to ask has anyone got a membership and if so is it worth the £32. My daughter is learning to drive a car, and lessons are expensive so having found out that our insurer for the Land Rover now insures those under 21 we have put her on the insurance. But I have noticed that she crosses over her hands whilst steering and I know that is a fail on the driving test, so any advice there please? The Landy is huge compared to the Nissan Micra that her instructor uses, so respect to her for even attempting to drive it, I learned to drive in my dad's Vauxhall Cresta and I am sure that could have fitted in the boot of the Landy! So all help on any points on how to teach someone to drive are gratefully received!

Hi Guys, Basically I bought my 04 Corsa in June this year from Lookers with only 24,000 miles on the clock. Having looked at it's service history, the first owner took it for a service every year since he bought it, and is stamped by vauxhall for 2004-2008. But when the new owner bought it in 2008, he no longer carried on with the servicing. Since buying the car, I've done 6,000 miles in it and would ideally like to start with the servicing again. My question is, where would you recommend and which service?
