Help please.. Im having a dire time with my Clio.. First the thermostat goes.. and reads 60C. Fixed. Fuel Pump Goes.. Fixed Now.. its leaking Coolant/antifreeze stuff everywhere.. Does anyone know how i can fix this? If its just dripping from under the engine is it likely to be a pipe.. or a bigger part of the engine.. Any other pointers would be useful please.

Can-Am motorcycle My brother is interested in one of these, however he only has a Full UK Car licence. Would he require a Full UK Motorcycle licence in order to ride this, or is it the same as a reliant robin? Where it kind of straddles both? If anyone can shed any light I'd be very grateful, I'm googling now also, but he asked if I'd ask on here so here I am. :D Source Thank you kindly

Hi how is everyone? Was just after a bit of advice really. This evening I went round my mums to see me grand parent they live in a housing estate in Bude where the parking is seperate from the houses. there are about 15 parking spaces of which for are for private parking. i parked in one of the public spaces went to see me mum and that and an hour later came out to find a van had parked about a foot of my front bumper blocking me into the space even tho there where other free spaces availlible. the person doesn't own the space I parked in and seems to have a bit of an attitude. Was just wondering where i stood if I called out the local police station is it illegal to blo…

Hi, Just a quick question not sure if this is the right place and the question may have even been asked before. (Mod's please redirect if it's the wrong place) I am looking at fully comprehensive car insurance at the moment with a view to buy my own car and I am aged 19. If I chose to go fully comp, I think this allows you to drive third party on other cars that are not registered to you. (I may be wrong that's why I am asking) Just for arguments sake what stops me jumping into a group 21 car for example something like a Ferrari or something like that which would be tens of thousands to insure for me or maybe not even insurable at my age, and saying I am insured fully c…

Ive been looking to get a bike licence for a while, gettting a 125cc bike is abit cost prohibative with insurance + the cost of the bike. Ive decided to go down the direct access route. Does anybody have any experiance with this? Cautionary tales or general advice? Ive been looking around at various places that do it, can anybody recomend a company?

Hi there, I'd appreciate any help opinions you could give me, before I start I am aware of the Legal Disclaimer of the site, and I will post it below. I recognise that any help given is not necessarily fact, and isn't endorsed by PS.COM, and may not be accurate. I also know that any statements and comments left are unofficial. To add, I WILL be contacting the Citizens Advice Bureau, but I wanted to ask here as well, as I feel the more information I have the better. I recently bought a Motorbike from a Gentleman, I have a written receipt which I will quote verbatim below. Now, I have just returned from the garage to be told that at some point this bike has pos…

Hi Guys, Basically, when I turn the engine to my car on, I get a 'ticking noise'. My car is a 2004 Corsa 1.0 I've never really took any notice to this until I pulled up at my house to park tonight and my neighbour told me to take it to the garage asap. I've just took a video of it now and uploaded it: http://www.youtube.com/user/carty23?feature=mhee#p/a/u/0/Zy4X4o-IlOs What I want to know is, is this normal? I've got it booked in at my local vauxhall garage tomorrow, but I just want a heads up as to whether it's something serious. I only bought the car from my vauxhall lookers dealer on 1st June this year. It's done low mileage for its age (24k). Many thanks in a…

I passed my direct access bike test in 1997 and submitted my pass certificate to the DVLA , however it was returned as I forgot to enclose a cheque for the update on my licence, I then misplaced the test certificate in a house move. Recently I discovered the certificate and submitted it to the DVLA but they are refusing to up date my licence because it was not returned within a 2 year period although they acknowledge that I did pass my test in 1997. I would like to become a motorcycle riding instructor but according to most websites I must hold a licence for at least 3 yrs, How can I overcome this problem. I have the original copy of the pass certificate.

My stepfather has recently experienced some medical problems, he is 73. One of the medications he is now on is Tegretol (carbamazepine) for suspected epilepsy like symptoms. The Dr's have recommended he stop driving for the time being although they haven't said for how long or what any long term prognosis is. My stepdad is quite devastated by this but we have convinced him it is for the best and he will comply. It seems though that he is the one that needs to report it to DVLA and on this there are two options. The reason for this post is to canvass for past experiences or any advice or knowledge anybody can impart. The two options are that he can either voluntarily…

Ive read so much online that ive managed to confuse myself, so thought I would ask on here in the hope someone with the right knowledge can point me in the right direction! I have a full UK driving licence with the P entitlement. Direct.gov.uk states: Other sites I have seen state Or that class P only allows you to ride a bike upto 50cc with L plates after passing your CBT. I dont think I would be as confused it it wasnt for the official direct.gov site stating you can ride upto 125cc providing you have L plates and pass the CBT. Can anyone advise what I need to do to ride a bike of upto 125cc on a full UK driving licence? (I havent take CBT yet, but know I will…
