Motorbike Indicator Fault (Help Needed!)

Good evening all!

I wondered if someone would be able to assist me at all. I have recently bought myself a 1993 Kawasaki GPZ 500S, and it has after market indicators on (ones like these http://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/74073)

I was riding home the other day and went to indicate right, however on my dash it just came up with a solid orange light for the turn signal (this normally flashes) so I knew a bulb had probs gone. I checked the bike and sure as the front right indicator was not lighting up, however the rear one was lighting up but staying on which I thought was a bit odd?

Anyhow I changed both the bulbs (it uses these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MOTORCYCLE...item4840459545)

However it is still having the same fault, and no matter what I do I cannot get it to work. The left indicators work fine just the right with the fault. Any ideas?

Cheers,

Sorry, I have to ask - your post shows up as being cut and pasted from somewhere else and has 2 links to products in it.

Is this genuine?

Edit:

This issue is with the front indicator and as the wiring loom to that bulb moves and can fracture or loose connection at wiring junctions each time you turn the handlebars.

Either a bad earth or a loss of +ve feed to the bulb and you can check both of these via a continuity and voltage check with a multimeter at the bulb contacts.
