Anyone come across the Following Epping Forest park keepers (Epping Forest Constables) Kew Constabulary( (formerly the Royal Botanic Gardens Constabulary) Oxford University Constables

As of 2020, for most constables for UK police forces (from what I understand) the following apply: - no accommodation provided (less serving officers from pre-late 90s) i.e. commuting officers - academic degree required, or certain points to allow a degree study, for two or three years (whilst serving) - pension age getting higher (MDP?) - police canteens largely gone, police leisure facilities largely non-existent? Hi. I am currently 5 months into training and recently undertaken PST course. As part of the course you need to complete a use of force role play scenario to gain a pass. You get 3 goes at the role play and need to show various signs to gain that pass. I struggle with role play and haven't been used to conflict but when have had dealt with it okay in normal life. I am on the 3rd go and been told if don't pass this time will be made redundant. It is making me worry as got so far and have a family to provide for. Is this true? Thanks in advance.

I did vetting before I joined and failed because of payday loans a few years ago. I appealed and they overturned it. I'm now in a police staff role, and recently I've been asked to do another financial vetting a couple of months ago. And now I've been asked to do a security clearance vetting. I find this strange as my friend has been in police 9 years and said they only ask you to do vetting again after 10 years? I know someone who's a PCC and they're asking around for policies, so for a laugh I said put CID into Uniform unless there's an operational reason not to.. What are your thoughts on that? Sit back and watch the fireworks? ha!

Am applying to my force as a Special, but am not entirely clear on who is really in charge of policing in England & Wales, with regards to territorial police forces. Roughly I think: The Home Office are responsible for law & order, the PCC for the money, the College is a private company that sends info (in co-operation with NPCC) to forces. (presumably collected from across forces) down to be used and the NPCC are the sort of leading officers for national emergencies and cross-force co-operation? Thanks.

Hello, I’m still in my probationary period and I’m requesting some help and guidance regarding case files, as it one area where I need to improve. I had little help from my tutor on files and I don’t feel I can ask anyone on shift for several reasons. On a general standard file, am I correct in that the following MG’s are needed - 5, 6, 7 (if remand) 11’s, PNC prints, 4 from custody when charged and if BWV then MG0 too? If there is a need for any other MG’s such compensation etc then they obviously need completing. Is that correct? My other issue is I know that with D&D, s5 public order etc is an MG11 and a PND (or charge to Court) but there are some o…

Hi, I've been looking at trying to get some epaulettes embroidered, as they are no longer issued with the stag on. Does anyone know of anywhere that embroiders more than just the collar number and can add a logo? Thanks everyone.
