General Help

Basically, my bank account is with Barclays and my account number is 8 digits long. The first two digits are 00. However, after typing in my bank account number on direct gov for my student finance, when I click submit it automatically misses off the two 0s and just puts 6 numbers. I've tried amending it twice but it just keeps doing the same! So, my question is (and it may sound stupid), are the two 0s at the beginning actually part of my bank account number? Thanks guys

Just need some pointers on this topic if anybody could share... I've been working with this girl at my job at Showsec and wanted to ask her on a date. Sometime before Christmas I registered on the Volvo website especially for their section on 'Volvo saved my life', and I told my story of how I survived an accident simply because we were in a Volvo. Why would they want/need my telephone number (which I did omit from the sign up page as it was optional)? Hello All! This is my first post, so please be nice! After I (And many more I know) recieved the simply crushing letter telling me that my assesement centre date was cancelled on the 27th February due to the governments 'CSR's' and that Cleveland Police couldn't afford to run the A/C until the spending was reviewed later in the year/next year, I understandably was GUTTED. I was basically just wondering if anyone had had any luck in any other forces/heard anything about a possible date for this A/C or what others in my situation were doing in the meanitime? Hey guys, Somethings popped up at work. Today, I took a picture on my mobile of the duty rota for where I work. This rota is open for everyone to view so nothing is hidden. However, i've been told my managers pulling me in tomorrow trying to punish my doing so, saying it's in breach of the Data Protection Act! This, I'm sure is a load of nonsense as theres no personal details on the rota except a name and a number of x's in the dates. So, can I happily tell my manager she's having a laugh? Thanks

Hey all, right any help with this would be amazing... it is really bugging me now. Every day when I walk to the bus stop or uni or work... basically it is on my route to everywhere when walking. ...there is always a 4X4 (and now there are three) with a window sticker that looks like some sort of flag, and everytime I see these stickers it annoys me because I cant seem to find out what it is. Okay story is: i get an email (names etc changed as this is public) This email is addressed to a lass, which, I am not one.... and comes to my email (just mine not others) and has the same surname and the site checks out as valid. (as in for in this case 'SOMEBANK') McAfee Site safe gives it a green and i've made additional checks. thing is also the currency is dollars, im usually quite good with tech, but this one puzzles me! any ideas if it is just spam, or i could have "been had"

Yes, you guessed correctly, I have lost my passport! I leave next week. I have looked high and low and believe it's been cleared out with the rubbish.
