Just need some pointers on this topic if anybody could share...

I've been working with this girl at my job at Showsec and wanted to ask her on a date. But i talked to another one of the lads i know there and told him that i only get like 10- 20 mins with her every shift and wanted to have a day to get to know her... he said build a foundation with her and become good friends before asking her out on a date...

Another thing is that how do i eliminate the fact she might be dating some one already without directly saying do you have a boyfriend?

Ask her out for a drink after work or something. It can be something of a 'hidden' date.

Yeah just ask her out. Use the fact that you don't get to spend much time with her to your advantage - is there plenty of chatter between the two of you during the short periods that you are working together? If so just ask if she'd like to continue the conversation after work...

Good luck!

Ask her out for a drink, if she refuses... Quietly ask her if your cloth smells of rohypnol

Or, just chat more and more to her, ask if she has facebook... Find out more about her :raz:

Follow her home one day, do a bit of spying, find out as much as you can :D

or you could use Facebo..... i mean stalkbook to find more out, no harm is there?

Ok sensible answer now.

Best way to find out if there is a significant other is indirect asking 'I hate working these hours sometimes, what does your other half think about you doing this job/these hours'.:D Will usually get a pointer from a question like that as to what their home situation is.

You check facebook, people do leave lots of info on display sometimes. Perhaps use that as route to speaking to her, become friend through a mutual friend maybe if she has no idea who you are.

Easist way to test water is ask out, but again indirectly 'going to get some food/drink after work (today/tomorrow), what you up to/fancy joining me?' not as direct as a date and allows the get to know time/ability to ask on a proper date. if she says no to today leave offer open or say doing same tomorrow if she wants to come. If get a no to both offers perhaps consider a tactical withdrawal either leave alone altogether or slowly work on getting to know in the time you see her.

Don't get too friendly with her before asking her on a date, you'll just get friend zoned
