Just watched a reasonable documentary on Bravo about football hooligans. Not bad, apart from the mockney tw@ presenting it, whose sole qualification to do so appears to be his recent film appearance. Something else did get my goat though. Gary Bushell. Remember him? This chap... He came on as a "Talking head" to make some comments. His name appeared on screen thus: "Gary Bushell, Cultural commentator" And there was me thinking he was just that beardy c*nt from The Sun! Apologies to any Bushell groupies out there (Show yourselves...)

Having studied these Forums for some time, it is quite apparent that approx 95% of those who submit entries, all seem basically to agree with each other. Is that because as police officers, or retired officers, we have been indoctrinated by the system, or that without sounding conceited, we are a fairly intelligent lot and we can see the pitfalls. If we can all see whats wrong the Criminal Justice System, and Policing in general, why can't those higher up the tree see it, including those in the Home Office who sit in their Ivory Towers sending out 'knee-jerk' reactions, or spin, to appease the public at large. Perhaps it's just me being an old cynic.

At last some Judges are taking dangerous driving seriously. Hamed got 15 months for driving like an idiot, and nearly killing someone by overtaking at 90mph, over double solid white lines. He should have got three years, but 15 months is better than nothing. He showd no remorse apparently when sentenced. I always thought he was arrogant, pompous b.....d anyway. Lets hope he meets a heavyweight inside who might knock his arrogance out of him.(in the ring, of course). Maverick2238850.3862847222

A man came home from work, sat down in his favourite chair, turned on the TV, and said to his wife, "Quick, bring me a beer before it starts." She looked a little puzzled, but brought him a beer. When he finished it, he said, "Quick, bring me another beer. It's going to start." This time she looked a little angry, but brought him a beer. When it was gone, he said, "Quick, another beer before it starts." "That's it!" She blows her top, "You bastard! You waltz in here, flop your fat ass down, don't even say hello to me and then expect me to run around like your slave. Don't you realize that I cook and clean and wash and iron all day long?" The husband si…

Sent to me by a 'lady' friend specifically for points 2 and 9 - "It's 'police' related, I think I'll send this to Truncheon, he'll love it!" Please don't read the below if 'revelations' concerning the male psyche cause you any offence! 1. OPENING JARS - She's struggling. You take it from her hands, open it effortlessly and pretend she loosened it for you. She didn't. Jars are men's work. 2. CALLING SOMEONE 'SON' - Especially policeman but even saying it to kids makes you the man. 3. DOING A PROPER SLIDE TACKLE - Beckham free kicks - camp. A Stuart Pearce tackle is the pinnacle of the game, simultaneously winning the ball and crippling the man. Magic. 4. SHARPENIN…

It was Berts last day after 46 years as a milkman, onthe same round. He had never had a day off sick, or failed to deliver, even in the worst winter for years 1962/63. He called at number 17 Windrush lane, and the lady of the house asked him to come in for tea or coffee. After he had his tea she asked him if he wanted to go upstairs and make love to her. As she was only in her early thirties he accepted, and the milkman love to her. After that she asked him if he would like breakfast to which he said yes please. She coooked him a fantastic breakfast with all the trimmings. After his meal he said I better get on with my round and went to leave, as he was walking down …

If taking a comical look at the difference between men and women's shower routines may cause you offence, please don't read any further! HOW TO SHOWER LIKE A WOMAN: Take off clothing and place it in sectioned laundry hamper according to lights and darks. Walk to bathroom wearing long dressing gown. If you see your husband/boyfriend along the way, cover up any exposed areas and rush quickly to the bathroom. Look at your womanly physique in the mirror - make a mental note to do more sit- ups/leg-lifts, etc. Get in the shower. Use face cloth, arm cloth, leg cloth, long loofah, wide loofah and pumice stone. Wash your hair once with cucumber and sage shampoo with 43 added …
