Apologies if this is the wrong section for this question but is anyone aware of an officer still doing front line policing having had a total knee replacement? I have had one and am due back to work on a phased return in January 2020. My Force Medical Examiner is reluctant for me to go back to response, therefore I am wondering if any other force allows this? I am in West Mercia Police. Thanks..

Hi all, I've recently been getting into Airsoft courtesy of a friend, and figured there are probably a few airsofters amongst the police community, so here's a place to chat and discuss! My regular site is Com's Site 3, am old WW2 communal site in a woodland area run by RIFT Airsoft, and I'm playing there this weekend in fact, first night game ever . . . Should be interesting! Other than that, I've also looked at Cotswold Airsoft and am planning on heading to the next game there to try it out. How about you all?

So December 2013 I got my foundation and I'm currently working toward my intermediate. I have all manner of scanner gear but my radios are currently Yaesu FT7900 for 2m and 70cm, this is attached to a Watson Co-linear Kenwood TS 570D attached to a half size G5RV, one end over the top of the house and the other straight down the garden and into the trees. I also have two Baofengs (3R and 5R) for going walkabout but I rarely use them. On the HF my biggest triumph is probably the West coast of USA and a couple of South American countries. I need to really think about some new antenna configurations to reach the far east and Australia. So anybody else w…

Ello Ello Ello everyone!, I just had a question about the life of a police officer / police special. Do the police run sports clubs/ regular activities for its officers/ workers. I'm very interested to know more about the family life of being an officer outside the uniform.
