Poor Alan Jenkins, of South Wales, went out to celebrate being married to his wife Lisa for 15 years. He decided to have a large tattoo on his back, of his wife, and two daughters, which cost him £870 . Alas, when he got home to show it off, she had run off with a 25 year old Latvian, called Kaspers, who is 11 years her junior. Jenkins says he isn't going to have the tattoo removed, she will be on his back for ever, I wonder if she was in real life.

I read about this when it first hit the news, not sure if it has been posted here or not.... It sickened me then & still does now, I just felt absolute despair & it upset me to see what he was & what he is now. For the judge to reduce their sentences is worse, what sort of message does that send out to them & what sort of justice does it give Daniel & his family? The thing is, he was off duty at the time of his attack. The reason he was beaten so savagely he ended up in a coma & is now unlikely ever to walk or talk again? He refused to light their cannabis joint. He confronted them after they spat at his car & shouted abuse but before he cou…

I thought this sort of thing was coming; A council is piloting one bag of rubbish per household. It's hoping to reach out to people's hearts and minds with this strategy... er, how? By fining threm? By encouraging fly tipping? Bonfires? By making people steal other people's bin bags? Whilst I support recycling, it has to be easy... which they seem to have addressed, but you have to have the residents on the council's side... which this won't do.

in America. Is there going to be one a year until they ban guns? Of course they'll never do that so it looks like every so often we'll hear a news story of how some kid has gone into a school and shot his classmates and his teachers. Apparently this kid was unhappy as he'd been suspended. Wonder what your opinion of this is shootist? You must admit that if handguns were not so easily availabe in America this would never have happened.

A 28 year old cyclist, Peter Messon, is facing up to two years in jail, for Wanton and Furious Riding of a Mountain Bike, in St Austell, Cornwall. Messon was riding at 25 mph on the pavement, when he hit Gary Green, 46 years, who was walking across the pavement to his driveway. Green died four days later in Truro Hospital, leaving four children without a father. One witness shouted at Messon that he would kill someone riding at that speed. The offence was brought under the Offences Against the Person Act, 1861. Some of these old acts do have their uses at times.

Just a reminder how to put hotlinks in posts. For instance you can put a link to a bbc news item like this: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/kent/7034376.stm but it is not a "clickable" link. To make your link "clickable", either manipulate it using the hyperlink icon when in "reply" mode, or put this at the beginning and end of the link: (URL) (/URL) In this example I have used round brackets so they show up on my post, but they have to be SQUARE brackets. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/kent/7034376.stm Images: Every image on the Internet has a URL which can be found by right clicking on it and look at properties. For instance at the top of…
