As some of you may remember, from Lambing 2007, Saph and I were interested in getting hold of some of Penb's mutton. This occurred a short while ago, suffice it to say that some photos were taken of and from Penb's "estate". It's not a true panoramic series as I'm not that clever.... But it should give you a feel for the area.... This was taken in a nearby field but gives the general impression of the scale and grandeur of the area (I hope)..... And finally where would we be without one of Penb's faithful companions, looking after my Christmas dinner Sorry about the size of the photos.... Edited for apology30down92go2007-10-12 05:39…

A female colleague told me ho much she fancied a neighbour of hers. When I saw him, I was amazed she found him attractive - he was the most ordinary-looking geezer you can imagine. When I told my colleague this, she said, "Ah, but he's a fireman, and he looks so sexy in his work gear". Now I can relate to that - not with firemen of course! I do find lady vets very attractive - especially in those cute green overalls! Unfortunately, my missus is in the building trade, and she refuses point blank to don the vet's outfit I bought her . So what floats your boat? Brutus

As previously hinted at in another thread, the opportunity to mention the names of people in the public eye with a certain, something. Not classically scrumptious (i.e. Mr Cloony/Ms Jolie) but maybe a glint in the eye or the tone of the voice, it could be anything.. Hazel Blears, Fern Brittain, Liza Tarbuck have already been mentioned add a few more and reasons for the choice. An odd one for starters, Sarah Kennedy very early slot on Radio2, a bit past her prime but a voice that just puts me in a better place either on the way in on an early turn or on the way home from nights..... Please note this is a unisex thread KB and Mav

This is the title of the latest drink awareness campaign to be launched by the government to try and stem the rising tide of binge drinkers. The same government that gave us unlimited drinking hours!! I've seen the ads, which target young drinkers. They've just shown them on Channel 4. Correct me if I'm wrong, but surely the sort of people who these ads are aimed at will all be out on the piss at this time of night? Another complete waste of time and money??

Greetings all, We are thinking of organising a social night out and meetup for everyone on this forum. For those new to this idea or unsure what that means it's basically whereby members on a forum will meet up on a certain night (generally weekend!) and go to a few bars and finish off in a club or two. It's an excuse to get very drunk and have a great laugh. Myself and a few other mod's have been to these types of socials before and they generally have a good turnout and it's a great way to meet fellow users and put faces to names (and possibly even make lasting friendships). It's a good thing to look forward too and as i've said they are usually a success. The idea i…

Another reason why men like curves By Gary Cleland Last Updated: 10:23am GMT 12/11/2007 Nigella Lawson's voluptuous curves have given her a legion of male admirers, but a new academic study suggests that her appeal, and that of other curvy women, is based on more than the purely physical. Have your say: are curvier women really more intelligent? Jessica Alba has the perfect wiggle, study says It is already known that curvaceous women live longer and that men find them more attractive but the new research suggests that they are also cleverer. Lawson graduated from Oxford before finding fame in the kitchen The study,…

I was recently given this link, showing new automatic bollards in Manchester. http://youtube.com/watch?v=0QzkPj2QADM What happens is postal vans and buses activate a sensor, which lowers the bollards so they can ride over. As soon as the bus passes, the bollards go up. Unfortunately, there are those that feel the need to 'try' the system. It's a good laugh :-)
