There's a tradition in America that the President pardons two turkeys on Thanksgiving Day. So that lets off Dick Cheney & Donald Rumsfeld then. Graham2007-11-24 00:19:02

General Donatt complains about the cost of packages being sent to soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. It costs £5 to send a small parcel. The General says the Royal Mail should send them for free. No they should not, the Government should be paying, they got them into this mess. Pay up Brown and show some solidarity with our troops. Maverick222007-08-20 20:58:12

I'm told this Click is the new PCSO training test. It might be a good idea as they seem to have to be twisting & turning all different ways to keep up with changes in government policy.

Sad news from Rhodesia, Ian Smith who was PM for 15 years has died, aged 88. He flew Spitfires during WorldWar 2, and was shot down twice. He declared UDI from GB in 1965, and sent that young Dr David Owen , who was Foreign Secretary, away with a flea in his ear when we tried to poke our noses in to their affairs. Eventually he gave way to that thug and despot Mugabe, who let the country run down from a prosperous country, to a waste land as it is now. Sometimes our foreign policy leaves alot to be desired, but I suppose back in the old days when we had an 'empire' we didn't want to lose anything.

Right, after thinking about favourite quotes (mainly Hot Fuzz/Life On Mars) Jinks, MOE, I'm sure you have some suitable ones Some of my favourites from Hot Fuzz; "Annette - that Sergeant Angel's coming into your shop. Get a look at his arse" "You're not seriously gonna believe this man, are you? Are you? HE ISN'T EVEN FROM 'ROUND HERE!" So very, very true!! "Do you want anything from the shop? Cornetto." "I could have given you the tour! I've been around the station a few times!" Now I've got the ball rolling, your turn!

******************************** BERLIN (Reuters) - German police called to investigate unusual noises in the garden of a Bremen house late on Monday were surprised to find that a pair of amorous hedgehogs were to blame. After illuminating the garden with spotlights, officers discovered the animals making love beside the pond. "The pair were loudly engaged in ensuring the continuity of their species," said Bremen police spokesman Ronald Walther. "All those spectators did not worry them in the least, indeed they even intensified their activities, so the officers turned off the lights," he added. The hedgehog breeding season runs from April to September and …
