At the risk of being accused of collusion with numerous dark establishment forces, and being hauled before the beak to be verbally slaughtered by Mr Mansfield, did anyone else find Mohamed Fayed's rantings as hilarious as I did? Doesn't it just prove the whole thing a complete waste of public funds? careerlid2008-02-19 17:31:11

I have to admit to having a little snigger on seeing the footage of Paul Burrell happily admitting misleading the coroner whilst slurping his champagne. No doubt the 'friend' who set him up is now an 'ex friend' but I'd shake his hand if I met him. So what do you reckon, will he be arrested and charged? He'll be popular if jailed I'd wager.............................

Hi, can someone please give me some info/ advice. I am really ahamed of both of my parents. My father has recently been banned for drink driving and has just got caught driving whilst banned. My mother has not got a licence and has been driving for 25 years. When my father got banned I took his vehicle from him and so far I have been pulled over 3 times and told the car has been marked. The car he was driving when he recently got pulled over was the car my mother has been driving and the police officer has told him that, that car will now have a marker on it. My father has now got the message that we are in the 21st century and we should all be living according to the …

"Wail on Sunday" dated 17 February 2008 A new sharia law controversy erupted last night over Government plans to issue special "Islamic bonds" to pay for Gordon Brown's public-spending programme by raising money from the Middle East. Britain is to become the first Western nation to issue bonds approved by Muslim clerics in line with sharia law, which bans conventional loans involving interest payments as "sinful". A new way for 'Prudence' Brown and 'Captain' Alistair Darling to raise funds to pay for Labour's Spendthrift ways!! Well, Pa Glum Mc Broone and his pal Alistair Darling cannot be seen to raise Taxes this year or next year, as this will scupper their chan…

It was mentioned on the radio today that God Save the Queen is no longer "pertinent" in this country today and the government is "consulting widely" to consider whether some other song would be more "appropriate and relevant". Well, we live in New Labour's Britain, with ANPR monitoring all our car journeys, compulsory registration of all children, the nationalisation of our medical records, ID cards just around the corner and draconian bans on anything the government disapproves of (like tobacco smoking or going on Islamist websites or using politically incorrect language), then I think this would be the most "appropriate" song for our time: http://www.youtube.com/wat…

There is a device available called the "Mosquito", costs £495, which emits very high volume sound at very high frequency. As older people cannot hear sounds above about 20kHz, this makes it very uncomfortable for people under about 25 to be close to this device. It seems supermarkets and fast food chains are using this. I had never heard of this before today. LINK It's so much more convenient than providing / enabling activities and meeting places for our youth, isn't it?
