I work in an environment where I can, fortunately, slip my shoes off occasionally during the day but my husband has to keep his boots on pretty much all the working day although I know he enjoys removing them for his lunch-break. He does, however, always seem relieved when he gets home at the end of the day and can finally take them off. I have read other threads which suggest that police officers would hardly ever remove their boots for the duration of the shift. Assuming this is true, how good does it feel to finally get your boots off at the end of the working day?

Quick question, maybe someone could throw a suggestive answer (not a legally binding one) my way... If you owned a domain name with someone quite famous in the name for example www.johnnydepp.co.uk would it be legal to flog it on eBay as a domain transfer? Thoughts?

Dear Gran. Nobody has asked after her in months, not through the cold spell or how she was able to eat or heat. Nothing. She's not angry, she knows the young have better things to do with their time than worry about the elderly, let alone the woman who survived the Titanic or rescued 340 soldiers from Dunkirk in an old tea chest and plank of wood as an oar. She is asking your help though. L N A R T I L W N F A E (8,4) It's an ITV tribute to a recently departed Coronation Street character. The only persons Gran can think of is Ken Barlow, Albert Tatlock or Martha Longhurst.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-27742136 -many people will be glad to see the back of Hain, one of the biggest fiddlers of expenses in the H of C. I am surprised he wants to get off the 'gravy train' as he was one of the biggest riders, and money grabbers. Pity he wasn't deported back to South Africa all those years ago when he was just a trouble maker. Poor Ed, thinks Hain is a man of intergrity, Ed obviously doen't know what the word means.

Just for info. it may interest some forum viewers who are retired forces personnel, (I know there are some)that as from today, a new channel has been launched on Sky, channel 299 called Forces TV. I saw it being spoken about on the Sky rolling news earlier, by the former head of Sky, who's name escapes me.

A POLICE sergeant who feared he may never walk again after smashing his legs in a head-on motorbike collision is preparing to tackle his first half marathon for charity. Sergeant Daryl Edmunds was riding his Honda Super Blackbird near Bishop Auckland – as he had done countless times before - when he was involved in a head-on collision with a car. He smashed both legs and broke his right foot, dislocated his collar bone, broke his left wrist and thumb and was left paralysed from the waist down. The 43-year-old was told by doctors he would be lucky to walk properly again, and may never be able to run. Nine years on, the father-of-three has defied the odds and is trainin…
