1. Bullet Proof' vests aren't. 2. The speed at which you respond to a fight call is inversely proportional to how long you've been a cop. 3. High speed chases will always proceed from an area of light traffic to an area of extremely heavy traffic. 4. If you know someone who tortures animals and wets the bed, he is either a serial killer or he works for the IPCC. 5. Flash suppressors don't really. 6. If you have `cleared' all the rooms and met no resistance, you and your entry team have probably kicked in the door of the wrong house. 7. Domestic arguments will always migrate from an area of few available weapons (living room), to an area with many availa…

Just to remind you all that it's rememberance day today. I've always had a huge amount of gratitude for those that gave their lives to ensure that we continued to live in a free society. I'll definately be holding a 2 minute silence at 11.00AM to spare a thought for those brave men and women who've fought and died for this great country. R.I.P. "They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old, age shall not weary them nor the years condemn, at the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them. "

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/7716021.stm So one borrows money, then find a loophole in paying it back. Disgraceful in my book. Mind you, if they ever wish to borrow more money from any bank/credit card/etc they may have problems.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/bristol/7721813.stm I think this is PC gone mad. Sam Mason was sacked because she rang a Taxi Firm, and asked for a 'non-Asian' driver, but a white driver. The taxi was to take her and her daughter home after work at the BBC Bristol, she requested a white driver because her young daughter was put off by a previous driver who was wearing a Turban. She is perfectly within her rights to request a white driver, that is not being racist. Who the hell are these Jobsworths who are running the BBC.

Have a look at these headlines. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/7717819.stm http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/7717545.stm Why the use of speech marks? In the top one it implies that the executions were not executions, but something else. In the second they should have used the word "killed". Why has the BBC reporing dropped to such lamentable standards?

Firstly, thank you to all of the service men and women who have given their lives for this undeserving country. I don't know if I'm over-reacting here, but earlier, during the rememberance silence, when the entirety of my workplace was silent for 2 minutes, the senior manager of my department was still nattering away and laughing with one of his deputies (who to be fair was trying to remain tactfully silent) throughout. After the silence had finished, I had cause to speak to him and in the course of doing so mentioned his lack of manners (in a slightly subtler manner). His response was that it really didn't matter and he couldn't be bothered with it. N…

I know this is the second Christmas post in two days from me but blame EMS for this, not me. Also, don't shoot me for keep bringing the subject up! The idea is you put what you would want for Christmas using the letters of the actual word. So it goes like this; Corrileas Imp. Pretty please House in the Cotswolds. With land & stables. Riding boots. Made to measure in brown leather & black. Insurance for the above horse & house Supplies of Agent Provocateur. Limitless preferably. The actor, Gerard Butler. Failing him, James Mcavoy. No need to gift wrap! Maltesers. Lots of them! (And the only achievable thing on this list ) Antique jewe…
