An 82-year-old Italian man who took a Viagra pill scared his wife so much she called the police. Giovanni di Stefano, from Palermo, was so excited his wife thought he would have a heart attack and dialled 999. "The police didn't do anything but their presence had the desired effect. He lost interest in his love life pretty quickly," said a family friend. Terrified wife Carla, 69, told police: "He is 82-years-old and so I thought so much love could have lethal consequences." http://www.ananova.com/news/story/sm_3106520.html Police turning up, appears to stop all sexual passion, does HATO have the same effect? :clapping:

Galaxy FM which is a radio station which plays dance & hip hop tracks has released a public appology after playing a song which contained words from the Koran. Apparently the DJ who played it and his producer have also been suspended after the station staff received death threats from Muslims. Now if I was a deeply religious christian type and I took offence at any reference the God, Jesus and the bible I heard on TV or the radio would they have pandered to my beliefs???? GALAXY APPOLOGY On the evening of Saturday 29th November at Nine fifty eight pm Galaxy broadcast a song that has caused offence to many of its listeners. This song was Busta…

The world's first bacon-flavoured chocolate bar is proving an unlikely success with British consumers. Selfridges, the only UK stockists of the US invention, sold its entire stock in 48 hours and is urgently seeking more, reports the Daily Mail. Mo's Bacon Bar, which contains chunks of applewood smoked bacon combined with smoked salt and milk chocolate, sells at a pricey £5.99 per 3oz bar. Ewan Venters, food and restaurant director at Selfridges, said: "Bacon and chocolate sounds like a strange combination, but the execution is fantastic. It's a real explosion of flavours and people love it." But the Daily Mail's Claudia Connell, a self-confessed chocolate addict and…

Anyone seen the bright lights near the Moon tonight? On the Beeb it said they were a couple of planets, Venus was one and I think they said Neptune was the other. Is this part of the line up of planets that precedes the end of the world, or something?

What did you always want as a youngster, but was never allowed to have. Mine was a Catapult. I was allowed an Airgun a .177 Webley, which was far more dangerous. My mother would never let me have Jeans, she thought they were common, the first pair I had was when I was about 50, I wear them most of the time now, she would 'turn in her grave' if she knew.Maverick222008-11-30 13:35:46
