Khat also known as Kat, gat, chat and some other names, is increasingly being included in organised crimes shopping/trading list of drugs. It has been around in the U.K. for a while, especially among some ethnic groups and in nightclubs. Although it has been around for a while, in the background, its strength and prolonged use has been identified in creating extreme violence, uncontrollable hyperactivity and extreme alertness. Much of this product, like Cocaine, has a ready market, during these like economic times, via airports and shipping terminals where organised crime has recruited ground level service workers.

I'm terrible for remembering song lyrics and tend to make up my own words and am always being pulled up by people trying to correct me . Anyone else do this ? An example of this : " I will survive" (feel free to sing along) At first i was afraid, i was petrified when you said you had 10 inches, bloody hell i almost died but i spent so many years waiting for a man that long that grew strong, i knew i could take you on But there you are, another lie i was ready for a big mac and you`ve brought me a french frie i should of known that it was bullsh*t just a sad pathetic dream should`ve known there was no anaconda lurking in those jeans Go on n…

Today is the anniversary of John Milton's birth. I heard a piece on the World Service this morning. It seems Milton is a staple of British school curriculum because he's not accessible. So if you are under 25 in the UK, you probably didn't encounter one of the greatest poets in the English language until you reached university, that is, assuming you went and were on a course path that required general western civ stuff. Also he is not fashionable with academics in the UK because of his republican ideas and we all know republicanism is dead in the UK. However, Milton is still a part of the US school curriculum, as in France and Australia. As a black, 16 year o…

I have a Danish friend called Kirsten and she phoned me this morning and I have not stopped laughing since her call. Her mother moved to a town in Germany in the 1980s which happened to be close to a German Air Force base. Having been there barely a couple of weeks, she suffered a burglary and, when the culprit was caught by police, he turned out to be an airman from that base. She moved house after this burglary, but remained in the same town. A couple of years ago, she had another burglary, only this time she disturbed the intruders. They were again caught by police barely a kilometer from her home. By an astonishing coincidence, they both turned out to be young me…

With less than 7 weeks left to Christmas, what are you plans? Celebrating? How and where? Working? Travelling? I have actually taken Christmas off this year, and New Years eve too.. Experience, I suppose. Although I love running books on New Years eve!! :) Lock em' up as they say! Spent the whole Christmas and New Years eve last year perfecting my arrest record, this year I will give myself a break. Am going Snowboarding with the family. After ski and celebrations..far away from the inlaws...lol. I can't wait!

To run this country, that is. We hear politicians wanting to outlaw the BNP. They all but say that people are too stupid to judge that party for themselves. I've even heard, on a very intellectual Radio 4 program, one enlightened opponent damn the BNP for using democracy to further their ends by seeking to gain votes (the cunning bastards!) The mother of Shannon Matthews, should her and her ilk ever be allowed a say in how this country is run? The idea seems preposterous. On the other hand, there any more merit if voting was restricted to members of MENSA? Or how about religious people, who will consider themselves of high moral standing. But, of course, w…
