BBC report I'm impressed with the whole clip, actually, particularly the way the girls played up to the cameras. It also goes to show that the most attarctive muscular development is not necessarily the best. He's worked hard, not over-ripped, and has a well balanced chest. I wonder if his back is similarly well-developed. People often concentrate on the "mirror muscles" ie the ones they can see, neglecting the rest. I think I'd better stop there before I launch into a long discussion about biody building.

Five surgeons The first, a Manchester surgeon, says: 'I like to see accountants on my operating table, because when you open them up, everything inside is numbered.' The second, a Liverpool surgeon, responds:'Yeah, but you should try electricians! Everything inside them is colour coded.' The third, a Newcastle surgeon, says: 'No, I really think librarians are the best; everything inside them is in alphabetical order.' The fourth, a Birmingham surgeon, chimes in:'You know, I like construction workers...those guys always understand when you have a few parts left over. But the fifth, a London surgeon, shuts them all up when he observed: You're a…

It was reported yesterday , that a 60 year old man, in Kyoto, Japan, who was thrown into the air at his retirement party, died when his colleagues failed to catch him and he hit the floor instead. He died ten months after the original accident. His widow apparently went to the Police and complained of gross negligence against his former work colleagues. The report appeared in yesterday's Guardian

this may not be the right forum, however i want to pick the brains of other officers to see if my enquiry has been encountered before. I want to borrow £35000 (pay off debts and build a conservatory). I am due to retire in 2019 and will have an estimated £120000 lump sum. Is there anyway i can use my expected lump sum as security against a loan now. Has anybody heard of something like this. Borrow now and pay interest only and in 10 years time pay off the loan. I am interested to hear from anybody who may have come across a similar systemkeithboy372008-12-19 19:15:51

Did anyone else see this really interesting Documentary on BBC1 last night ??? It followed Jack a 22 yr old Lance Corporal in The Grenadier Guards on a very arduous tour of duty in Afghanistan. Whilst on Patrol for 91 consecutive days , enduring daily contacts ....... near death experiences, he witnessed the death of two very close friends and severe injury to 4 other friends and colleagues . He was obviously a well respected soldier , and a very good one , being mentioned in dispatches. He had undertaken 2 tours of Afgahnistan and one in Iraq within two years ........ but it all obviously took it's toll on him , not surprisingly. On a two week period of H…

Uniform Dating are back again with another offer... If you're feeling a bit skint what with the run up to Christmas looming why not take advantage of the 3 days free full membership they're giving away? Go to Uniform Dating and add in the code PAG5 in the upgrade area when prompted. You then have the run of the site for 3 days. Please tell all of your work colleages as they'd like this offer to get around as many nicks as possible. If you're single and work in policing then why not take advantage? They're clearly GTP and there really is something for nothing by the looks of things.

South Wales Police must have more important things to deal with. It isn't just the Daily Mail reporting this, it is in several other daily papers and on the news this morning.

Did anyone watch the shoe being thrown at Bush in Bagdad over the weekend ? My strange sense of humour found the ducking president quite comical. Has he actually found something he is good at ?? You can see the clip here ............... http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=rfYBGl9q30c&eurl=http://www.metro.co.uk/news/article.html?Bush_in_shoe_attack_as_he_bids_farewell_to_Iraq&in_article_id=444479&in_page_ Apparently in Iraq to throw your shoe at someone shows your contempt ..............who would you throw your shoe at ?
