Anyone here wear contacts? I started wearing them about a month ago now. Think they are a brilliant invention! Prior to that i'd only wear glasses when I really needed to which would be at night. Decided to make the jump to them because of the job really. Question is this for those who have been wearing them for a long while, do you get days where you find it difficult to put the contacts in? Eyes a bit sore or dry feeling? I've been getting that recently and was wondering what the best way is to prevent it.

Went for a day. A fascinating place, especially if you know a few of the stories from the TV series. Thoroughly recommended as a super day out. The tank museum is also nearby if you want a couple of days in the area. One thing though. For some reason, the presence of monkeys really seems to bring out the worst in people. One particular aspect of human behavious was almost inescapable. A family group would happen by, and the child, or children, would be doing something altogether 'naughty' for lack of a better word. Not actually killing each other, or anyone else, just stuff that should have been stopped in it's tracks. One, or rarerly, both, of the parents wo…

He's officialy president now, but is he what the USA and the world need? He's a left wing politician, possibly the right guy to re-introduce some form of regulation into the financial markets... but on the other hand can he really afford to go ahead with so many plans to improve the healthcare, education and communication systems in the US?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1163060/50-head-immigrant-tax-drop-ocean.html Another daft idea by the Ginger Midget, where do they get these people from. £5000 would be a more sensible sum, it might discourage them from coming here.

A custody hearing on a 12 year old boy was being heard in a West Country Court. The Judge suggested that the boy live with his Aunt, but the boy complained bitterly that his Aunt beat him more than his mother and father did. Right said the judge, I will grant custody to your Grandparents, but the boy complained that they beat him more than his Aunt did. The Judge thought for a few moments and decided to grant custody to the England Cricket Team, as they were not capable of beating anyone.

Without going into specifics, for the obvious reasons, anyone tell me how long whiplash takes to resolve itself. I've just seen my physio (hence the grumpy posts ) and it's so bad she's seeing me again on Friday. It hurts!!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/west_midlands/7911823.stm If this was a robbery, it must have been quite frightening for the lorry driver to be attacked by three people. The self defense was abit strong, but people who play with fire sometimes get burnt. Alot more to come on this story.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/education/7946912.stm My kids are already facing prospective debt of 30K by the time they finish university, in science subjects where graduates earn less than you coppers. British scientists have traditionally been the ones wearing Oxfam clothing. This is just going to drive our best brains abroad where they can command a better wage to pay for the millstone debt round their necks.
