I have found my new cyberspace home. It's glorious but I now ache from laughing too much: spEak You're bRanes It's a collection of the best "Have Your Say" posts from the BBC site, handily organised into categories such as 'armchair generals', 'unfocused rage' and 'self-appointed sages'. The comments from the author of the site themselves could be written by Charlie Brooker himself. Glorious. I also came across a post on another forum today which I had to read four times: Bloody hell, Argos refuse to give as refund on an item because someone didn't bother reading what it actually was? The whole world's gone mad, I tell thee! Ah, the moronic. They mak…

I made peppermint creams today & they are perfect! I admit, you can hardly call it cooking but seeing as I'm not allowed to use things like food processors unsupervised & people get nervous when I'm in charge of a naked flame. Well, it sort of cuts down the scope somewhat . Half of them have already gone so they must be OK. I can now 'cook' at least half a dozen things. The list is expanding .

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/...-collision.html Caught on camera: Man's miracle escape as he is run over by truck AND train in freak collision How would Oscar Wilde have put it. To get caught by the truck might be considered an accident, to then get caught be a train seems like carelessness.

Greetings! Thought this would be a bit of a laugh to start. I'm sure many of us have been "up norf" and "darn sarf" at some point and met various people. So question is this, when it comes to the ladies - who's the superior side? Northern ladies or Southern ladies and why? If this topic gets a lot of contributions to it I may even start a poll!

Gordon Brown advises against the 'dangers' of protectionism. That says it all. This idiot, as chancellor, sold half of Britain's gold reserves when the price of gold was so low. This same idiot has always advocated unrestricted borrowing with his 'Borrow, borrow, borrow, like there's no tomorrow' attitude. With a proven track record like this, the best opinion I can offer is to do the opposite of what this idiot advises. Anyway, what's wrong with restricting foreign imports? Any fool (except Gordon Brown and his cronies) can see that we (as any country) need to export more than we import in order to retain a healthy balance, as well as protecting our industries …

I received my donor card today after signing up to The Organ Donor Register. They are apparently very short of organs & need as many people to sign up to the register as possible. After all, if the worst does happen to me I would like to think that the bits that can be used, will be & will help somebody else who desperately needs a transplant. If you aren't already a donor & you want to sign up, it's easy peasy - NHS Organ Donor Register

So has anyoe else been watching Ross kemp in Afghanistan on Sky1? I never liked him in his role in Eastenders. But my opinion of him has changed. He has a lot of bottle, How many of us would stand on the front line with combat troops as a non armed observer, with RPG`s, AK47 rounds passing overhead and IED`s possibly underfoot ? Plus he is doing his bit for Help for Heroes (H4H). http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/
