Are you on Facebook or a similar social networking site? If you are in the job, have you set your profile to public or private? My kids are on Facebook and they have done a search on people who work for various organisations (sad - I know) and they were surprised at the number of police officers and staff who have published a great deal of information about themselves with no apparent concern. There are officers who have posted their e-mail addresses and mobile phone numbers, as well as their home towns and embarrassing pictures of themselves. It leaves them open to abuse - of all sorts.
