If you are a senior you will understand this one, if you deal with seniors, this should help you understand them a little better, and if you are not a senior yet........God willing, someday you will be...... The 2.99 Special We went to breakfast at a restaurant where the 'seniors' special' was two eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast for £2.99. 'Sounds good,' my wife said. 'But I don't want the eggs.' 'Then, I'll have to charge you £3.49 because you're ordering a la carte,' the waitress warned her. 'You mean I'd have to pay for not taking the eggs?' my wife asked incredulously. 'YES!' stated the waitress. 'I'll take the special then,…

Is Signor Berlusconi the 'mans Man'? Or is he just a very rich, randy old b*gg*r using his cash to become a 'Babe Magnet'. Is he a disgrace, or a 'Hero' to all red-blood, mustachioded, bearded Italian Stalions...? Are his, as the story of 'Cyder with Rosie' soon to end. In his case 'Viagra with Prossie'... of course all this is alleged. When we read about the alleged antics of the Italian PM, it certainly makes the 'rumpy-pumpy' that some our Brit MPs and Ex-Ministers have allegedly been up to look like an evening out at the local Bingo Hall. Will he face some sort of Justice, or has he the local Judges in his back pocket... Maybe he is a bit like our B(w)anksters a…

http://www.okcupid.com/tests/7781317899077435583/Are-You-a-Psychopath- You're delusional, but otherwise a normal member of society. Maybe you think weird thoughts or believe in things other people don't, but you're able to function just fine. You're definitely not a psychopath.

A farmer named Bill was overseeing his herd in a remote mountainous pasture in Scotland when suddenly a brand-new BMW advanced toward him out of a cloud of dust.. The driver, a young man in a Brioni suit, Gucci shoes,RayBan sunglasses and YSL tie, leaned out the window and asked the farmer,"If I tell you exactly how many cows and calves you have in your herd, will you give me a calf?" Bill looks at the man, obviously a yuppie, then looks at his peacefully grazing herd and calmly answers, "Sure, why not?" The yuppie parks his car, whips out his Dell notebook computer, connects it to his iPhone, and surfs to a NASA page on the Internet, where he calls up a GPS satell…

I've just downloaded the Google translate app for my phone. Could become very handy when talking to people who speak little or no English. Works both ways, you can talk into it in English and it will translate it into the desired language, and the reply can be spoken in said language and converted to English. Obviously it is in no way a replacement for an approved translator, but I'm sure it will come in handy nonetheless!

Following on from pmtts's amazing find for Giraffe, I wondered about what others wear on their uniform when on duty and for what reason they wear it? Going first.. I haven't attested yet, but once I'm out on the street I intend to wear a badge for the RNLI as my partner volunteers for them.
