The Locker Room

Saw this video when looking at news articles and thought I would share it.

So Iceland's at it again - this time the eruption is much larger than the one at El... Ej... E... that other volcano. But it looks like weather is favourable at the moment so with any luck it won't cause much hassle for Europe. I think it's clear that, yet again, they haven't taken too kindly to losing eurovision

Does anybody know his story as to why he left the MET? Apparently he was a Detective but he is only 33 now and he left about 6 years ago. Just wondering why he left .

Orville Smith, a store manager for Best Buy in Augusta Georgia told police that he observed a male customer, later identified as Tyrone Jackson of Augusta, on surveilance cameras putting a laptop computer under his jacket. When confronted the man became irate, knocked down an employee, drew a knife and ran for the exit. Outside on the sidewalk where four Marines were collecting for the Toys for Tots program, Smith said the Marines stopped the man, but he stabbed one of the Marines, Corporal Phillip Duggan, in the back. The injury did not appear to be severe. After police and an ambulance arrived at the scene Corporal Duggan was transported for treatment. In the police …

Sorry if this is the incorrect section but I wasn't sure where to post it. I've reduced the size of the picture I want to use for my avatar down to the lowest photoshop will allow me yet it's still not small enough. Can someone direct me in the right direction. Thank you!

I don't know if these have been posted before, but I think it just shows what the public think the police are there for

I know that the Queen's visit is making a bit of history, and that for security reasons the police have to act accordingly, but when one sees the roads more or less empty but with the barriers in place, and everywhere the Queen visits seems to come across on the tv as having no atmosphere, it does make me think that the visit is not altogether as popular as the authorities and the tv would like us to think.

For any geeks out there interested in such matters (myself included!) You can download a KMZ file to track the Space Shuttle using Google Earth. KMZ file here! Once found, just download it to your desktop, double click on it and it will auto load into Google Earth. Make sure Google Earth is running at the time. Here's a screen shot of mine.

ok, i'm bored of seeing all these debates coming up time and time again, cos i know they'll never die down, so i thought of a better idea. The government has just issued a report stating all police officers will be trained and armed with a sidearm of their choice to deal with crime, now the question is... What firearm would you choose?? just something i think will be quite interesting, btw, the government haven't actually done this...yet

A very random question, but the aim is fun... Do you have a song in your head to encourage you when it's time to police? I was wondering if anyone shares the thought of a song playing out whilst they are 'in the zone' of a foot chase etc. ? A few recommendations: BBC Traffic Cops Theme Police Camera Action Car Crime UK Of course Cops (Full Song) and Of course, i could have been watching too many films. Hot Fuzz as it turns out
