We often hear the phrase "you are entitled to your own opinion", but is this reasonable? I might believe that the Sun revolves around the Earth. This, as a matter of fact, is wrong - it is a false belief. But if someone challenges my belief with all of the evidence that the Earth revolves around the Sun and I say "all of that seems reasonable, but I still believe that the Sun revolves around the Earth", would you be happy to let me live in ignorance, or do you have a duty to enlighten me? Isn't it daft to have the whole population running around believing whatever nonsense pops into their heads and ignoring facts about the world which directly contradict their view? Eve…

dunno if you're allowed to post personal tales in the canteen, but i'm guessing with it being an off topic forum it might be allowed. basically today, woke up to first day of confusion involving reduced timetables and what i should do with my morning, checked my email to see a letter about police cadets and if i was still interested, (anyone who knows me will know the answer), then got in to school at half ten to start my business studies, and go through the ordeal of an hour and a half exam, got home feeling like crap lol, probably because i had a full lined jacket and a leather jacket on but oh well any responses, feeling a tad conversationalistic shall we say

I really want to go ahead and take out my 1st ever contract on a phone for a Iphone 4 but I think for a phone these monthly payments and ridiculous to be honest! Now I have just come across this deal from 3 (three) which is ... 24months - 2000minutes - 5000texts - Unlimited Internet - 16GB - Phone Cost £69. Which isn't really a bad deal at £35 a month. What I want to know is what is the network like to live with. I don't for 1 second believe what the signal coverage checkers tell you on the website. Thank you in advance. If anyone knows any decent Iphone 4 deals give me a shout.... I'm after 5000+ Texts, 1gb or more internet and no less than 1000 minutes. on a 2…

Now Ministers are having a go at civil servants for using government procurement credit cards for non-government purchases. These cards, brought in by Our Tone, no less, are intended for small cost purchases and are available right down to local councils to use. It seems that holders of the cards must now put details of their spending on line, which is causing a few panics in the corridors of power. Where do I apply for one?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1387216/Huhnes-damning-phonecall-Cabinet-Ministers-attempt-silence-claims-tried-dodge-speeding-points.html MP's are not content with just fiddling their allowances, they now want to fiddle points on their driving licences. Nothing worse than a 'woman scorned'. She should be done for 'perverting the course of justice', she knew all about it and did nothing, she is as bad as him.

Couldn't believe my ears whilst listening to the local commercial radio this morning. A hotel advertising their Christmas functions and advising offices to book soon as dates are filling up fast. Earliest I think I've heard the "x**s" word used. :D
