I have just read in this week's edition of The International Daily Express that a court in UK did not send a 20-year old burglar to prison despite a current suspended sentence for burglary because the poor chap suffers from OCD in relation to cleanliness. Apparently, his brief asserted that his client would suffer from the dirty conditions in prison and it would worsen his illness. I'm not often lost for words but this leaves me speechless ............ so much so that I cannot even rant in favour of transportation, flogging, castration, amputation or execution for this poor mite despite the fact that his victims were apparently OAPs

Do we have a thread anywhere to report problems? Since it shut for 10 mins all quoted posts are not displaying correctly for me. The quoted part stretches across the whole screen overlapping anything in their way. There are also grid lines across the screen. At work currently, Internet Explorer 6 (sadly)

The world was supposed to end today as 'The Rapture' sweeps through the time zones of the world. But inhabitants of New Zealand have stated that nothing bad has happened, no boiling seas or strong earthquakes. Apparently Harold Camping refused a very low offer for his car and house as he won't be needing them tomorrow according to his theory.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/law-and-order/8525451/Judges-warn-MPs-and-media-over-breaching-super-injunctions.html It seems to me that our Judges are getting a little above themselves. MP's and The Lords cannot be sued because they are protected by parliamentary priviledge, and I think judges should get on and Judge, and let parliament make the rules. I don't know why the 'famous footballer' doesn't come clean, as the majority of people know who he is.

In what is one of the freakiest accidents ever recorded, a New Zealand lorry driver expanded like a puffed-up balloon when he fell bottom-first on to a compressed air tube. The end of the tube pierced the flesh of his left buttock, forcing compressed air at the rate of 100 pounds per square inch into his body, swelling it to bursting point. 'I felt like I was going to explode from my foot upwards,' said 48-year-old Steven McCormack who is recovering in the intensive care unit of Whakatane Hospital. 'They've told me I'm lucky to be alive after blowing up like a balloon.' Mr McCormack, from the Bay of Plenty area, recalled how he was standing on a metal plate between the …
