http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-13426353 The first 74 locations on the London 2012 Olympic torch relay route, which will start at Land's End, have been revealed. The route, which covers every nation and region in the UK and includes island visits, will see the Olympic torch travel 8,000 miles (12,800 km). A search for 8,000 "inspirational torchbearers" will begin at 1100 BST, the London Olympics' organisers said. They plan to publicise further route details later this year. The London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (Locog) said the Olympic Flame would come within a one-hour journey of 95% of people in the UK. The torch will leave Land's End, …

ITV have been happy to let the show run for 14 years and haven't complained about the lack of ethnic actors, why the sudden concern now. A few hypopcrites still survive in the top echelons of ITV.

Is this the tackiest motor ever? Footballer El-Hadji Diouf shows off shiny gold Cadillac Escalade By Chris Johnson Last updated at 1:01 PM on 14th October 2009 It seems Blackburn Rovers' footballer El-Hadji Diouf has struck gold - but this time in the form or a souped-up motor. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-12883511 The aircraft carrier HMS Ark Royal has gone up for sale on the Ministry of Defence's auction website. The Royal Navy's former flagship was decommissioned two weeks ago after 25 years' service as part of the government's defence budget review. Proposals for it include turning it into a commercial heliport, a base for security personnel during the London Olympics, or a school and nightclub. But it could also be sold for scrap like its sister ship HMS Invincible. Ark Royal's operations have included leading the UK's naval forces during the invasion of Iraq. The current ship is the fifth vessel to carry the name - the first saw batt…

Type your username into YouTube and post the first result. Simple. Here is mine, some Phillipino students singing Bon Jovi! Just copy the link into the "Insert Media" icon. If it is extremely offensive, you may take the next one! Edit: You also may want to skip the Featured or Promoted videos that come up first, as they are less obscure.

A friend of mine just got this chain email. Sounds like an urban myth to me. A bit of useful advice - verified by the Dorset Police. The number does work from a mobile. This actually happened to someone's daughter. Lauren was 19 yrs old and in college. This story takes place over the Christmas/New Year's holiday break. It was the Saturday before New Year and it was about 1.00pm in the afternoon, and Lauren was driving to visit a friend, when an UNMARKED police car pulled up behind her and put its lights on. Lauren's parents have 4 children (of various ages) and have always told them never to pull over for an unmarked car on the side of the road, but rather wai…
