I've just been sorting through some Beanos which date from my student days and even before that. I had thoght they would be valyuable by now, but a quick look on ebay shows me they aren't. Mr M wants me to chuck them, saying I haven't looked at them in 10-12 years, so i won't miss them. But I started reading them as I was sorting them out, and within seconds i'd laughed out loud. No way am I chucking them. The late 90's maybe; they're not so funny, to my mind, but not the early 80's.

Has anyone ever done this? My scenario; I have a lot of HD DTS files on my hard drive (mostly .MKV files) which I want to play through my TV via the PS3. So; does the USB drive need to be FAT32 formatted? Because as you can imagine the HD video files I have are up to about 8Gb. That's a problem with FAT32! Has anyone done this?

We are looking to all of you who use Facebook to raise money for our brave and dedicated men and women in our Armed Forces, who put their lives at risk and give those same lives for their Country. Paul Feather is singing a song which he wrote together with a friend called Neal Rylatt entitled Far Away, a moving ballad about our soliders being so far away from their loved one's, family and friends. Support the cause no matter what your views and let's see if we can get some much needed assistance to those families left behind. http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/ Check out the official Facebook page HERE You can hear a sample of the track HERE

And you know how Google throws up random images that usually don't have anything to do with what you might be searching for (especially if the family filter is turned off!) Well, Google seemed to be behaving itself this time, Not only actually giving me the image I was looking for, but also bringing up (non pornographic) related results. Anyway, these are those. I've not seen them before, so I don't know if they're still used anywhere, but feel free to use them as an avatar (or whatever) if they relate to your force. Bedfordshire Special Constabulary. Gloucestershire Special Constabulary. Humberside Special Constabulary. Wiltshire Special Constabulary.

A couple of years ago we had a PS.Com Big Brother. It was hillarious, and a huge success. We are considering having another one in the near future, so this thread is for discussion of the project. Ultimately, we need about 12 people willing to participate. They must be willing to enter into the spirit of the game, and do (close to) the normal stuff you see on Big Brother - and as wierd as it sounds, it's very entertaining, and it worked! I've moved some posts from a recent topic into this one to make it the official PS.Com Big Brother thread. I guess people thinking of taking part won't know what it's really like until they're in and it's underway, but I can assure yo…
