http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2034309/Former-Labour-MP-Margaret-Moran-faces-21-charges-fiddling-expenses-worth-60-000.html Why isn't Jackboot Jacqui not in court for her claim of £116,000 for one room in her sisters house, was it because she was a Cabinet Minister, and it would have been very embarrassing for the PM. Some of these prosecutions appear somewhat inconsistant. Alistair Darling 'flipped' his home three times but nothing happened to him. Looks like a law for one and another law for others. I know that an inquest etc have to be carried out,but I for one am fed up with reading about him or seeing his bloody mug shot both on the rolling news and in the papers after what he was involved in. I don't know what all the fuss is about. He is dead, and we,the tax payer, won't be footing any bills involved with keeping him in prison.

Just to let everyone know, there may be a little disruption to Police Oracle, including the forum, on Monday 1st August (next Monday) in the afternoon as a few minor changes to the software are being made. The disruption will take up to an hour. While most of the changes should be very minor, some are necessary to prepare for some entirely new forum software. As you all know, the last update to our software has caused all sorts of problems and some of those problems have not been able to be addressed. Part of that reason is that the software we are using is no longer supported by the writers. The new software is not only known to be stable but is still actively suppor…

I've seen a few of the episodes on Youtube but wondered if anyone has started watching it on the Crime Channel? It's an investigation by Dateline NBC into internet chatrooms and the subsequent encounters that follow with children. The paedophiles turn up at NBC's house rigged with hidden cameras and are challenged by the host before usually running away and being arrested by police outside! Worth a watch!!!

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2033460/Secret-files-Labour-lied-Gaddafi--warned-holy-war-Megrahi-died-Scotland.html It makes you wonder what else will come out of the woodwork. The last Labour Government have a lot to answer for. We know Blair would do anything for a 'quick buck', and publicity, but this is bottom of the barrel stuff.

Google, at least in the UK, are dedicating their page header to Freddie Mercury today on what would have been his 65th birthday. Go to google.co.uk then click the "Play" button that's in the middle of the image at the top of the screen. Proper music!

in the 1970s, snooker rooms were COMPULSORY in the MET POLICE I do know that there was not a nick that did not have a snooker table in fully working order and a committee to run it every Sports Club also had a snooker table, of course they did! it would have been unthinkable otherwise even in the 1980s - snooker tables were still a big ingredient of Police life, so can you remember WHERE in the nick the snooker table was? Twickenham! snooker room was right behind the canteen, now a briefing room, KINGSTON! basement - now a storeroom for CJU files Teddington! Top floor - can't remember what it was converted to, Esher, 1st floor at the back - converted to a GYM then …
