Not I sort of thread i'd usually make but this is the only forum I am signed up to thought i'd a shot: Went for a interview at a large conference hall for a bit of part time work. Passed interview and been asked to come in Wednesday for a "chat". Feedback for the interview was that I was good but "stern" (first time for everything). Not sure what to wear for this "Chat". Feel like a suit would not help with my "sternness" Any (serious) suggestions would be great.

Making a little playlist (for fun) can anyone think of any police related tunes to add to a spotify play list? (or link youtube to make this into a bit of fun!) examples.: Breaking the law - Judas Priest Call The Police - Thin Lizzy Caught By The Fuzz - Supergrass I Fought The law - The Clash Sound Of Da Police - KRS One...

The voices in my head have been having a raging debate .... "what is the best cop film of all time?" I'm going to need help to settle this one. Answers on a postcard below. Anything from Hot Fuzz to Point Break plays.. even better if you have a top 5.

Recently I dealt with a job at a privately run children's home and was struck by two things. Firstly it only houses 3 young people yet it has 6 staff, so it must be horrendously expensive to run. Is such a small unit financially cost effective? Secondly despite the cost the staff didn't seem to be particularly effective and are loathe to lay hands on their young people when they either smash the house up or assault fellow YPs or staff. The company also has a policy of not supporting police prosecutions as they don't want to criminalise their young people. That leaves a situation where the staff can't handle the YPs but they won't support the police when we get called…

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-33773658 How much would you want to work nights? The Tube workers want a 'transitory' £200 a night for doing it. And they've been offered an extra 2% rise. And a £500 'bonus' for when they introduce a 24-hour service. At some point, I wonder quite how 'essential' being a tube worker is.......and how much they'd want to not be able to strike.......

OK - so fun story time? One sentence at a time per poster, and obviously keeping within the forum rules :D.... We got a call at 2am and made our way to the warehouse where we were greeted by a large shadowy figure...

According to what I have read, Jeremy Corbyn's popularity in the leadership pole has improved greatly. I for one am NO fan of Corbyn, but apparently it has been said that he could be on the side of having Blair face charges for favouring the Iraq war. That alone, if it could happen (which I don't think it will sadly), would make me support him.
