I have resisted until now, receiving the Sky channel that broadcasts the Ashes test live, simply because I would not get any of my jobs around the house done, but I can resist no longer. Does anyone know whether or not I can register to receive the Ashes just while the tests are in progress, and then to cancel the registration, or would I have to sign up for 1 or two years or something like that. Pay per view I suppose it may be called. Any comments would be gratefuly accepted.

Not a major life event to be sure, but Dragonfly, Maverick 22 and I have been active members of the forum for 10 years and counting. Personally, I never expected to be here this long. But Pen, Mav, Graham and a host of others in those early days were so engaging and charming...how could I leave. Thanks, especially to Maverick22, for a decade of friendship, conversation, laughter, and a few tears.

I can't believe that this excuse for a human being was given JUST 4 years in prison. He may be as old as 94, but in my opinion, he should be locked up until he is ready to leave prison in his box. The deaths of 300,000 people were involved. How long did he get per life lost. NOT ENOUGH that's for sure.
