    May 2016 Photography Competition

Hey, I'm hoping that any members who have won the photography competitions before could offer some advice, and also that the forum team see this and help. I was lucky enough to be voted the winner of the May 2016 photography competition (with more votes than leave got in the referendum I might add, but I digress!) I opened a support ticket, when I realised that I had won, on Thursday the 23rd June. This was, in part, due to the fact my username was spelt incorrectly in the announcement post, so I didn't get a notification. This support ticket was closed (I think because its department was support team) without comment. I then PMed @Uppy on Friday, and have not received a response. I opened another support request, this time under the "claim my prize" department, on Monday, and although it's still open I haven't heard back from anyone yet. So, the point of my post is to see how responsive the forum team usually are I guess. Is it normal to be waiting a while? I'm just concerned that it's been a number of days, through various channels, and I'm still without a response. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  12. As the title says, the December competition is something a little different with a bigger prize on offer... As we are in the last month of the year, this months competition has a theme of: Your best of 2015 To put it simply; you can enter any photograph you have taken since the 01/01/15. It can be a photograph that you have entered into one of the competitions or a new one we haven't seen before, but it is only one per member so chose your photo carefully. Landscapes, artistic, thought provoking, portraits (even selfies!) are perfectly acceptable, just chose your favourite/best photo that you have taken in 2015 and get it entered. The more entries we get the better! The winner for the month will receive a £30 voucher for www.police-supplies.co.uk. 18. Do you use the chat room? Would you like to win a £30 voucher from our forum sponsors Police-Supplies.co.uk? If the answer is yes then as a VIP or Lifetime VIP you are already part way there. If you aren't a VIP member then you can find out how to sign up by Clicking Here after which you will have instant access to the chat room and will be in with a chance of winning. To be in with a chance of winning the voucher all you need to do is use the chat room some time between Thursday 1st October and Saturday 31st October. It really is as simple as just using the chat room. After closing the competition a date will be chosen at random and then a time in 24hr format will also be chosen at random. The person using the chat room at that time will be the person who wins the voucher. Easy Peasy. You can increase your chances by using the chat room more often. For every entry you make in there it is another entry into the competition. The more you use chat the more chances you have. Rules. Obviously there has to be some rules. Any VIP's who just makes nonsense posts or useless entries just to increase their chances will be disqualified from the competition completely so no spending 10 mins spelling out the alphabet or a poem line by line or a long chain of full stops. If there was nobody using the chat room at the randomly chosen winning date & time then the prize will go to the person who made the last entry before that date & time. All the normal rules regarding the chat still apply. If you have any questions then feel free to post them here and we shall answer them as soon as possible. Good Luck Team Police.Community
