http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/religion/9064786/Baroness-Warsi-to-lead-large-British-delegation-to-meet-the-Pope.html. Why does this non-elected Warsi need to go on a jolly to the Vatican, with a costly following of Civil Servants and advisors. I cannot see what the Pope can do about climate change, the war in Somalia etc etc. He needs to get on his hands and knees and pray to his God to end the wars in the world, and famines that are killing thousands. With all the praying these religious buffs do, it doesn't seem to make much difference to the world, we still have wars, famines, despots killing innocent people. If their God is as powerful as they say, why doesn't …

This week we will see winter. Although precise details are difficult to forecast, it is certainly going to get very cold, particularly from mid week onwards. As some of you already know, meteorology is a hobby of mine and I do daily predictions for my local area on my website. However, what I am seeing will concern the whole country. First, as a way of explaining the current weather conditions, here is my preamble to today's forecast:- "The next two or three days are very difficult to forecast with any precision. What is happening is that there is a large area of warm moist air to our west and a large area of cold dry air to our east. These two areas are about to have a…

Right a bit of a rant!! I live in Birmingham and regulary use the Bus,today i witnessed a guy come on the Bus with his Dog and let his Dog sit on the Seat, which is disgusting in its self,he also refused to move the Dog when a old lady wanted 2 sit down, why are Dogs allowed on the Bus for free? Surely they should not be allowed on at all, its unhygenic, especially for passengers who have 2 sit in the same seat afterwards Kenworthy do you allow Dogs on your Coach?

I've said for ages this odious little man is pandering to the lowest common denominator and running a modern-day freak show with the guests and scenarios he shows. Aimed at those at home during the day with seemingly little else to do, and seemingly aimed squarely at those with absolutely nothing else in their lives apart from being the stereotypical workshy, the 'guests' are little more than contestants for his freak show and instead of reflecting real life, is actually driving it. It's all about that five minutes of fame 'look at me I've been on telly' and who can be the most vile on it. That I have watched it in the past is undeniable, sad to say, and each time Facebo…

http://www.dailymail...ion-runway.html More crap from the DM, who said they pair were terrified. I have read the offical report, it was a 'normal go round' due to another aircraft slow in exiting the runway. There was no steep climb, just a normal climb to 3000 feet, full power, gear up, flaps up to 10 degrees, and normal rate of climb, the instruction to go round was made 1.3 miles out. there are probably 10 'go-rounds' a day at Heathrow, and nobody is in danger. The DM love to make a 'mountain out of a very small mole-hill', trying to make out they were in desperate danger. If the DM are going to write such crap they would be better not writing anything at all.

How sad. I admit to being shocked when I read the article but admit I really shouldn't be. There is tragedy of a stunningly natural vocal ability squandered and a young daughter now motherless.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/8517278.stm I don't use Twitter, but can anybody that does tell me whether it's possible to edit something you post after you've posted it? What I'm basically asking is - is this bloke telling the truth, or is he a sneaky, lying individual who has foolishly posted something and then realised that not only was he sneaky and a liar, but that he was also an idiot.
