We have all seen mugshots of prolific offenders, some of may have even taken mug shots of those we bring into the station. These photos show just how much the photograph procedure has changed since the 1920's. I found them quite entertaining, we don't get many people in custody dressed like that anymore, have a look and see what you think.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2103922/UK-border-controls-let-500-000-country-checks-FIVE-YEARS.html Time to resign Ms Malfoy, you have cocked up the Police Force, now under your watch, the Border Agency has cocked up. She obviously hasn't been doing her job properly, she is 'in charge' and cannot blame the last Shower for these errors as they all occurred under her watch.

I've put it here, because it could go either way I guess. Anyways, Gizmodo (very good tech blog, but US based and biased) have recently launched a UK version: www.gizmodo.co.uk (see what they did there?) On their new site, they have Notes from the Frontline, a blog from a Metpol officer. Matt Delito is a pseudonym for a policeman working for the Metropolitan Police. All stories from the frontline are not entirely “the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth,” due to the sensitive nature of the business, but are all based on actual events." There are 2 posts so far: http://www.gizmodo.co.uk/2011/09/notes-from-the-frontline-introducing-london-copper-matt-del…

On the 2nd Feb my broadband suddenly disconnected. After a couple of test on the hub's control panel, and zero readings of my connection I decided to call technical help. What followed was numerous line tests, four Openreach engineers to my property over a week period, no line faults whatsoever and several baffled engineers as still the broadband was not working. I tried five different BT Business hubs and neither of them would connect. After loosing my wick with BT on the phone today, I decided to buy a wireless ADSL2+ router. Plugged it in, did all the config without calling BT and hey bloody presto, I'm back online! So the outcome is, 5 BT Business hubs that wont …

Just had a quick look at the amount of people on this site at 6pm today 303 68 of which are members. Policespecials.com 275 85 of which are members. Believe me this is a massive turn around a year ago the specials site blasted us out of the water and now at that snapshop in time look how far we have come on. Well done to Black Rat and Bakes for all the sucessful changes that have caused this. I am in no way disrespecting the Specials site they are a very slick and professional outfit ,just a nod to ourselves to say how far we have come in the last few weeks and months.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2103175/Boy-7-branded-racist-asking-schoolmate-Are-brown-come-Africa.html Is anyone really surprised, after all it is Hull. Someone needs to have a talk with the Politically Correct head teacher who would appear to have little common sense, but plenty of wool in his head. Good on the mother for not signing the form.
