http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/phone-hacking/9099039/Cherie-Blair-sues-News-of-the-World-over-alleged-phone-hacking-while-Tony-Blair-was-prime-minister.html I wondered how long it would be before 'gob on a stick' claimed her phone had been hacked. This could be awkward for Teflon as he is Godfather to one of Ruperts kids.

http://weeklyworldnews.com/headlines/27321/facebook-will-end-on-march-15th/ PALO ALTO, CA –Mark Zuckerberg announced that Facebook will be shut down in March of 2012. Managing the site has become too stressful. “Facebook has gotten out of control,” said Zuckerberg in a press conference outside his Palo Alto office, “and the stress of managing this company has ruined my life. I need to put an end to all the madness.” Good riddance. :)

Now, I'm not a complete philistine, I can appreciate beauty in some art and music and so forth, however, this intrigues me; http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-17156588 Over £28m for this painting of which over £20m is tax! How does that work? But, most importantly it isn't very good, in my very humble and non-arty view. (that was an intellectual joke, to appeal to those who think that the play on the words Manet and Monet would be amusing ) It reminds me of the Game for a Laugh stunt where th…

I'm doing an internet search at work for availability at a number of NYC hotels between specific dates. At hotel #7, as soon as the page loaded, the dates I'd been searching on other hotel websites were already in the check in and check out boxes on the web page....

Just coming onto the A40 at Northolt tonight when I saw this : As you can see from the clip the car had no lights on other than the blues and I never saw the car until it had already passed. Assuming this was actually a 'real' emergency vehicle and not just a MOP that stuck a set of lights on. It's bad enough when you get a MOP driving with no lights on but surely a blue lights trained driver should have noticed that they couldn't be seen?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2104358/Simon-Burgess-drowned-firemen-refused-wade-3ft-deep-lake-health-safety-rules.html more political correctness and 'Health and Safety crap. This was a pond with no 'fast currents', and onl;y 3 feet deep. Once upon a time the firemen would have been in and out in seconds but now the fire brigade is led by donkeys. I just hope Mr Nicholls can sleep at night with a clear conscience.
