http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2109823/They-rioted-lost-hope-Ex-Labour-minister-excusing-legitimate-causes-trouble.html No wonder the country 'went to the dogs' under NuLabour, when you have idiots like Harman and Hodge spouting about 'no hope'. The riots were not caused by people with 'no hope', they were caused by Scum that just wanted to steal property, and hava bash at the police. There was no excuse whatsoever for the rioting. If NuLabour hadn't wasted billions, sold half our gold off at less than half price, there would have been plenty of money for jobs schemes for those 'no hopers'.

http://www.itv.com/news/tonight/episodes/public-v-private-sector/ Anyone catch this? It made it quite clear that on: Pensions, Perks (Holidays, flexible working etc) Job security and Pay, The public sector was ahead of the private sector in every respect. It was good to see someone actually come out and say what the majority of the private sector has known for some time. It may be unpalatable to some public sector workers, however it also showed why some reforms at least are necessary.

**************************Coming Soon************************ "A Copper is as prepared as the condition of his kit." We all know the amount of battering that our boots take everyday. Having been on the beat, I know that my boots are the most important part of my kit. We appreciate that a good pair of well looked after boots is our pride and joy. A nice polished pair of duty boots helps us look professional. Also, with the winter wet/ snowy weather fast approaching, this is the most crucial time to get your boots waterproofed. The salt content in the grit combined with water cuts through the top coating of leather and deteriorates its quality. I understand not every…

Sorry it's late, the paid job keeps getting in the way and I've had my first on time finish for a while. To make up for the lateness this month's comp and next month's will overlap slightly. Usual rules: 1 - The submitted photograph must be your own work. 2 - Group members may only submit one entry per month to the competition. 3 - Minimal retouching is allowed (brightening, sharpening, smart fix etc.) but entries that have been retouched to the extent that they appear completely unnatural will not be considered. 4 - The photograph must be taken between 01/11/2011 and 01/03/2012. 5 - By entering the competition you consent to the photograph being posted on the Polic…
