I thought this might be an opportunity for all you "petrolheads" to post in here of the car's you drive.... It's entirely up to you whether you post pictures or simply list the car (text) in the thread, but knowing how some of you "petrolheads" area, it's usually how proud you are of you car.... Remember though to edit the number plates out of any images you might post..... I'll kick it of for you... Yes seriously folks I did own one of these a few years back... although it was red with a beige roof !

Hi, I am currently finishing both university and my specials training so I am starting to think more about the future... I was wondering what kind of employment other serving/training SC's have and if any have taken up SC full time in an attempt to get IPS and be eligible to apply internally for the regs. I have though about many other jobs, using my degree, etc. but if im honest to myself all i really want to do is join the police force full time so I am looking for inspiration i guess! What jobs do you guys do around being a special... does it work? which do you prefer doing? how many hours on duty do you manage to put in? Thanks in advance guys!

First a vain hope that those who have no interest in sport or rugby just ignore this thread rather than post anti-sport or anti-rugby posts. There will be plenty of time to criticise the refs, opposition, players, crowd, commentators etc. WHAT A FIRST WEEKEND!!!!! England went out to play some rugby. Stuart Lancaster is having a refreshing influence on the national team. Scotland scored a couple of tries - well done them. Wales lost - again. Nothing more needs saying on that one. AND best of of all Italy beat France. Can the rest of the competition live up to this? Roll on the next round :) :)

I've just remembered that yesterday was the one year anniversary of my attestation. It's been a really interesting year and I've learned loads. I like to think that it's changed me for the better as well.

A Harley biker is riding by the zoo in Washington , DC when he sees a little girl leaning into the lion's cage. Suddenly, the lion grabs her by the cuff of her jacket and tries to pull her Inside to slaughter her, under the eyes of her screaming parents. The biker jumps off his Harley, runs to the cage and hits the lion square on the nose with a powerful punch. Whimpering from the pain the lion jumps back letting go of the girl, and the biker brings her to her terrified parents, who thank him endlessly. A reporter has watched the whole event. The reporter addressing the Harley rider says, 'Sir, this was the most gallant and brave thing I've seen a man do in my whole life.…

To David Cameron (Prime Minister) & Ed Milliband (Leader of the Opposition) ... You BOTH Worry me ! ( In fact both of your Political parties worry the hell out of me !!!) Over the last three years, I find myself becoming more and more fearful of the pair of you, and between you, you are turning this country into a place that I no longer feel at home in, or feel a part of! I watch you in parliament, and no, not just the two of you, but every politician that I see, stand up in parliament sneering at each other, and acting like children !!! (..and if you were my children, I would be ashamed of you all ... What an example to set!) Although you would like us all to beli…
