Can serving officers take anti depressant medication without disclosing it to the police force that they work for?

The media have not shone a very favourable light on how Sussex Police have handled the drone incident, which includes the time it took to call in the army. Whether that perception is fair or not, I wonder whether it is time to reconsider whether BTP should have its remit and scope extended? I'm really curious, how do police forces plan raids? Do they need to be signed off by someone at the top level? What factors do they need to consider when organising a raid? what are the time restrictions! Any information would be really useful! Thanks Lloyd

Now, stay with me, legislation is a pain in the backside to read and understand. Way back, Section 19 of the Road Safety Act 2006 was rattled around and was in the process of being implemented to cover exemption previously under S.87 Road Traffic Act. I never actually saw anything official stating it was enacted and now I cast my kind back I think surely it most be on place, but after a while of googling and getting myself confused on legislation.gov etc... I am still home the wiser. From what I can tell exemptions are still claimed under S.87. When, if not already, do you think this act will appear and come into its own right?

If the Police ask someone to attend a Police station to help them with their enquiries,is it normal for that person to then be arrested and put in a custody cell given the fact they have gone along voluntarily? What is the purpose to arrest them? What has been gained by them spending hours in a cell?How does that help the police? I was communicating with someone on a different forum who told me he sued the police for false imprisonment after spending 8 hours in a custody cell.He was asked to attend a Police station after his ex claimed he had breached a non mol.There was a technical breach as he had texted her instead of emailing here as per order.He sued the police and won £3000 compensation. He said that the Police should have interviewed him under caution and then released him.There was no need to detain him which is why he was successful.
