Hi, from looking at other posts on this forum, it seems that the law on importing replica firearms into the UK is, at least partly, based on how realistic the "weapon" is. I am planning to purchase a replica of a gun from a sci-fi video game (Mass Effect 3), see link below with pictures. http://www.biowarestore.com/collectibles/replicas/scorpion-full-scale-replica-deposit.html Can anyone here advise as to whether this is something that's likely to be stopped at Customs? In my opinion it's clearly a sci-fi prop and not in any way reminiscent of any "real" firearm, but I would like to know if others on here with more experience in these matters would agree with me on this…

I am concerned about how long someone can be kept at the police station, when they return, on the date they were bailed till. They released me pending further enquiries, so will I have to be re interviewed about any further details, they have found out about? I'm not likely to be put in a cell this time though, am I? I'm hoping they'll have contacted my solicitor, so she will attend at the appointed time, or is it my responsibility to let solicitor know what's happening? I know, that if I hadn't broken the law in the first place, I wouldn't be in this predicament and have vowed never to fall foul of the police again but that doesn't help me in this particular circumst…

'Evening all! I was wondering about something earlier, when Police manage to secure a person attempting to commit suicide, what do you arrest/detain them under? I guessed it would be S.136 of the Mental Health Act. If I am right, is there set wording the arresting officer tells the person?

Bit of background a few months ago me and a man I have known for a while started a relationship but the past few weeks things have been going wrong. Anyway, he would only communicate via email since the row we had but I thought if I put all my feelings down in a handwritten letter it would make a difference.
