So seeing as it's almost remembrance Sunday, the walts will be out in force. I know that there's a couple of laws over here which are similar to the yanks "Stolen Valour" but can anyone give me clarification on what they are and their maximum penalties? First remembrance shift on Remembrance Sunday and I wouldn't mind be forearmed in case of walt.

Hey guys so i have my full car licence, also done my CBT which means i have full moped entitlemnt but the question i want to ask is i own a monkey bike and its registerd as a 50cc but it has had a replacment engine but it does not say its a 50cc on the engine now if i were to be stopped by the police will they seize my bike for having no engine numbers ?

There is a saga that has been going on locally, streadily growing over the summer, literally. Brambles off a patch of waste land are growing on to a pavement and are now all the way across it forcing people to walk on the road. This now means primary school children going to the near by school are walking on the road. The owner of the waste land has been told of the problem but won't do anything. Locals are considering cutting them themselves but people are telling stories of doom and gloom that they could be prosecuted. I've started writing a British crime novel. Naturally, research is an ongoing part of my job. A hobby of mine is reading up on the latest IT nasties, and i came across 'The USB Killer'. 'The USB Killer' is designed to look just like a USB Thumb drive, but when plugged in it causes a lot of damage to computer components including the mothorboard, or almost anything which supports USB. Would any offence be committed for: 1. Having this on your person 2. Buying or selling this 3. Leaving it around for people to plug in to a computer For point 2 i suspect there may be something in the Computers Misuse act 1990, more specifically section 3, which may cover this.

I've seen a few 'Personal Protection Sprays' which claim to be legal in the UK. They are marketed as 'the UKs legal version of pepper spray'. One example is 'TIW FARB gel self defence spray' which ranges from £12 to £25. Are these actually legal to carry around? would it not come under Section 5(1) (b) of the firearms act 1968?

If someone makes a homophobic comment to a straight person, should they still report it even if they were not offended?

Hi everyone, I'm a crime writer and currently editing my latest book, which I'm keen to make as realistic as possible in terms of police and court procedure. The book partially relies on someone being on ViSOR but without having served a jail sentence or had a conviction. Am I right in thinking that accepting a police caution for a sexual offence can have you on the list for a short while? If so, what nature of incident(s) would result in that outcome and would it be because the CPS decided it wasn’t in their best interests to prosecute or for some other reason? If protesters block a doorway of a building where multiple Companies reside is any offence committed. For example: a group are protesting company 1 by Blocking the entrance, but this also prevents company 2 and 3 from entering.
