Hi. this has been dwelling on me last few days and I figured here would be the best place to ask. (Before I start this just to be clear I don't work for the Police in any way and I'm talking about a totally different sector of work) The other day I was called into the office, My boss proceeds to have a go at me for missing one target had to get x amount of sales in two hours. The reasons I gave him he said "Where bullsh*t" and then continues to say " If your sales don't improve you can look for a new job" Now that too me seems like a threat to my job. Hi, I recently advertised my parents car, a 2003 estate. They were the second owners of the vehicle, and have owned it gettng on for the last ten years. This was a second car used by my father who recently passed away. We were subsequently given an offer on the car, which we accepted, took a deposit etc. The buyer then contacted us to tell us that he'd done a HPI check on our car, and a stolen marker had been issued against the car, back in September 2003. The car was not actually registered until November 2003, making it pretty unlikely that the car really was stolen. Hello, First thanks for you taking the time to read and hopefully answer questions in this topic: This concerns The Protection from Harassment Act 1997 in England & Wales. Can PINs be withdrawn due to allegations of stress, alarm caused or even existence of such occuraces not taking place in reality, this being a result of a serious mental health problem? I am getting really confused with pre charge police bail conditions and what happens when they are breached. If the CPS do not have a decision and the person breaches his pre charge police bail conditions he has committed an offence but what happens then does he get charged with it? I usually find they are just rebailed with the same conditions. When a cps decision is made and they are charged with the main offence what happens in relation to the breach of their pre charge police bail conditions? Can someone please clarify this as I am confused and need it in simple terms!!

Hi folks I'm asking this here in the hope that we can get into why this situation keeps coming up and what, if anything, can be done to avoid it. I'll be as brief as I can, but... anyway. When I started working as a television cameraman about twelve years ago, there was in my view no friction with the police whatsoever. If they wanted us to stand in a particular place, we'd do so, because generally if we said "can we just have a minute to finish these angles" they'd say "Sure." I have a shift next week and it will be working with the bus companies in the city centre to tackle anti social behaviour and other crimes on bus routes and at the stations. A question for those more experienced or anyone who has experience in this area. What offences am I likely to come across? Hi all. A friend of mine was sent an email many months back by a gentleman friend of hers who was looking to protect himself from quite shocking allegations made against him by his ex wife. The email that he forwarded was originally sent to his solicitor due to a very acrimonious divorce and his discover that his (now ex) wife was having an affair. The email contained an attachment which were reviews from a swingers website about his ex wife (and replies from her to others) as well as a couple of compromising photos of the ex wife, with another couple. Can taxi drivers request pre-payment of a fare before taking you? I was under the impression that they couldn't, but I can't find a source to back that up. When I was a special there was a taxi fare dispute, which the officer I was with was going with the mindset that it was a civil dispute. When we got there it turned out that the customer had paid up front, the driver had been unhappy to continue the journey to the destination due to the customer's "rudeness" and so had asked him to get out. With two of the Magistrates Courts in Cumbria closing, leaving only two for the entire county (a very big county) how does that affect the police getting warrants to search premises? Firstly, what sort of situations do you need a search warrant for (although it might be easier saying when you don't need one to search premises)? Do you actually have to go to court at times that courts are open, and when they are not open, or if there is not one close, do you just find any magistrate and ask them or is there a duty magistrate?
