Hi, Just doing some revision on handling stolen goods and becoming abit confused with it all. In the act it talks about "goods", it says this includes money and every other description of property except land and includes things severed from the land by stealing. what does it mean by that and what does it not included? An example would be good it help if possible. thank you.

Hello all, I've a quick question about Batons within the costume world. I saw the thread about telescopic batons and all that entailed (a big no no) which is a-okay, I don't want to break the law. I'm a 28year old comic convention attendee I often dress up as something (mostly Spiderman) but this year I'll be going as a character that carries a telescopic batons (Aiden Pearce from Watch Dogs). My question is while I can't carry a real telescopic baton, can I carry a prop, something that doesn't collapse and is made of something along the lines of hollow plastic, like a plumbers tubes or something similar? hi. i work for a breakdown organisation and deal with brokendown vehicles on the A40 which is a continuation of the M40. This road is three lanes in either direction and has a speed limit of 70mph, but has no hard shoulder. I have been campaigning to get this issue resolved. As there is nowhere that the person can pull off, they sit in the live lane awaiting breakdown assistance. On saturday whilst going to the scene of a breakdown a lorry collided with the broken down vehicle and as a result the road was closed whilst the person was cut out of the car. My point is that the highways agency dont come out to the stretch of road nor will the police for a broken down vehicle.…

The recent spate of deaths and illness caused by a "bad batch of Ecstacy" (like there is such a thing as a good one) has got me wondering - the law prohibits certain drugs, change the drug enough and its no longer illegal. If a bad batch is a prohibited drug with an impurity as well then there's no problem, the laws on supply and possession apply. However, what happens if the process/recipe for making it was wrong in such a way that it is not actually a controlled drug anymore? Am I right in thinking that someone could escape charges simply because they didn't get thte recipe right? Or is the fact that they thought they were selling Ecstacy enough to prosecute? (This see…
