Hi Guys, Im doing some self study for my CKP course (Public order offences and Breach of the peace) Im a bit of a dork on a quiet nightshift and need some help. I wonder if anyone here can help. I am going around in circles. Certain offences, such as breach of bail conditions, have 'preserved powers of arrest'. I have read that in many books, but I have never seen the implications properly explained. Does this mean that the code G necessity test does not apply? In other words, so long as you reasonably suspect they have broken a condition set by a court (such as don't enter a certain area) then they can be arrested without the need to belive the arrest is necessary? thanks

What exactly are the laws on where you can shoot airguns? I previously thought that you couldn't shoot on public land or near a road but looking on the internet it seems that it is only an offence if it causes alarm and distress to people. In the story below, surely if someone has shot a cat, accidentally or not, it is their responsibility to ensure that they don't shoot anything they shouldn't. I've noticed on our traffic report forms we have 2 offences: Willful Obstruction and Unnecessary Obstruction. From what I've found, Willful Obstruction comes from S137 Highways Act 1980 and Unnecessary Obstruction comes from Regulation 103 of the Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986. However, the 2 offences look interchangeable in a lot of situations. It seems Willful Obstruction doesn't mention the use of a vehicle, just "willful obstruction of the highway". Am I right in assuming you could use this offence for someone blocking the highway with a vehicle? An eg scenario: A road has vehicles parked along both sides leaving a gap wide enough for one veh…

Ok, I know that In-between A-pillar and B pillar in a motor vehicle, it is not wise to tint the windows, as they are already at their legal limit (in some cases). I know that from B-pillar and back, the windows can be tinted as dark as you want. BUT Is there any regs on the Colour of the tints? For example, someone has a blue car, and wants blue tints, as they would look better than black tints.

Hi, A few months back stress in my life became too much and I left home with the intention of going somewhere to die. I didn't get to do this as my partner reported me missing and the police found me. I spent the night in the hospital before being assessed and sent home. I hope someone can help me, My partner passed away - suspension, his mother has tried to replace her son with my children (her grandchildren) and when I refused to co-operate with her demands she began making false accusations. Firstly she started caling the police making false statements stating that I was abusing and neglecting my children.
