The above are emerging as favourites. However, they need not actually be the real villain. This is just a first vote on the evidence so far revealed. I am sure that more evidence will emerge later. If your main suspect is not in the above list, just name them in the body of this thread or the Who Dun It thread. They may then be included in later polls which will appear as the evidence develops.

M&MBM has now finished her sentence, so she is hereby released from having to display that bizarre, and somewhat suspect, avatar piccy, if she wishes of course. Brutus May I suggest that, when she reflects upon her sentence, she may wish to listen to a nice Scandinavian song, "Release Me", by the Swedish band, Oh Laura. It is presently being used in the UK to advertise the equally Swedish motor car manufacturer, Saab. Anyway - enjoy! Brutus

Heard it all now... Teachers Fly To US For Lessons Manchester city council is spending £25,000 to send teachers to America to train them in giving happiness lessons. The move has triggered criticism in a city that has the worst truancy rates in the country, reports the Daily Telegraph. The 25 teachers will fly to Philadelphia this summer to learn about the scheme, which has been adopted by hundreds of US schools. The lessons, aimed at 11-year-olds, will start at nine Manchester schools in September. If successful, they will spread to all 22 secondary schools in the city. Nick Seaton, from the Campaign for Real Education, said: "There is consider…

Is a size zero a British size 8 or 6? And following my question on how to pull a bloke....I just wanted to know peoples views on weight. What do you all find attractive. But I just wonder...what real people actually think.... ....especially the blokes. And do blokes feel the pressure to be like a bloke from a glossy magazine? ChickenSoup2007-05-08 19:24:18

As one or two of our forum members seem to like being naughty and getting punished, I am looking to devise a way of meting out this punishment in an amusing way that does not drag on for ever. I have had the idea of placing them in virtual stocks (and even pillories if they don't learn) for a short period of time. Other forum members would then be able to show the miscreants what they think of them. What I am considering, at the moment, is to start a new thread for each punishment, with the first post outlining the offence(s). There would be a poll, listing various type of things that could be thrown from the innocuous to the downright disgusting. One would have to …

M&MBM has been placed in the stocks for eight days. That is, till 4pm on Saturday 5th May 2007. She was placed there for seven days for theft of Butterfly's water pistol, assault (on Butterfly) and various public order offences. The seven days was increased to eight days because of a series of minor offences (e.g. insulting behaviour by making V signs). Please let M&MBM know what you think. Please remember to add your comments as well as vote.

I saw this on BBC.com today( http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/6637855.stm ) and had to go have a lie down<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Celebrity heiress Paris Hilton is backing an online petition seeking a pardon of her 45-day prison sentence because she enlivens "mundane" lives. The petition to California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger also claims she was being used as a scapegoat to highlight the dangers of drink-driving. Hilton was sentenced after being found guilty of violating her probation for a drink-driving conviction. She must start her jail term by 5 June or risk a doubling of her…

You know when someone in the public eye is attractive, but it is so wrong that you find them attractive. For example, shame of shame, I think Danny De Vito and Gerard Depard are attractive. I guess the female equivalent for a guy could be Margaret Thatcher if you were really depraved! What does it for you with a public figure, that is so wrong and why?

I found this earlier while looking for something else. I'm surprised it didn't get more publicity at the time. Ex-policeman criticises hospital Perhaps if more people did the same thing, the senior (and obscenely overpaid) managers in the health "service" might get the message. There was praise for the staff working in the hospital and it appears that the nurses and doctors are working within a system that works against them. Where have we heard this before??

I wish Ch Supt Ali Dizaei would keeps his stupid comments to himself. His words, '' It beggars belief that there appear to be serving police officers in the BNP''. Why doesn't he wait until there is evidence for those remarks before opening his mouth. There was an allegation that off duty police officers were seen out side the Oyster Bar, in Manchester , where a BNP Rally was taking place. The police were called when it got a little rowdy, and an Inspector who attended was told by a member of the the force, that off duty officers had been seen in the locality. The Professional Standards dept is investigating, their Ch Supt has said that there is no evidence that GMP Off…
