CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE KIDS WHO WERE BORN IN THE 1940's, 50's, 60's 70's and 80's !! First, we survived being born to mothers who smoked and/or drank while they carried us. They took aspirin, ate blue cheese dressing, tuna from a can, and didn't get tested for diabetes. Then after that trauma, our baby cribs were covered with bright colored lead-based paints. We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, doors or cabinets and when we rode our bikes, we had no helmets, not to mention, the risks we took hitchhiking. As children, we would ride in cars with no seat belts or air bags. We drank water from the garden hose and NOT from a bottle. We shared…

The CRE are upset with the people running the Miss Black Great Britain beauty contest in Manchester. They say that this is causing segregation and is not the proper way of going about things. A spokesperson for the event says that she is promoting black and ethnic girls, and is nothing to do with segregation, but she is doing it because basically they don't get a look in otherwise. I can just imagine the reaction if someone decided to have a Miss White Great Britain beauty contest, Trevor Phillips and his clan would all be up in arms.

I have just received a letter from an old school friend inviting me to a school reunion next month. It'll be a party-type affair - no partners - at a function room in a pub - and they want a contribution of a tenner for the cost of the room. It was a single-sex school I went to between the ages of 8 and 12 years and I haven't seen or heard anything from anyone at that school since - and that's a very long time ago. I have moved half-a-dozen times since then, including living abroad, and even changed my name. How the heck did they know how to find me? The organiser must have really put some time into tracking us all down! Now I have to decide whether or …

The Foreign Office and Downing Street say that the relationship between our two countries is in danger of falling apart, because the Russians will not extradite the man wanted for Litvinenco's murder. We will not extradite people to certain countries, but we are being very hypocritical about the Russians. The Russian law does not allow for Russian citizens to be extradited to another country for trial. End of story. The Foreign Office should stop carping on about the extradition and put an NFA on the file. We might not like the fact that they will not extradite the culprit, but we would'nt extradite our citizens to certain countries.

It keeps freezing, crashing, losing internet connection, AOL won't let me post or reply on here sometimes and its starting to p*ss me off. I have been researching Laptops and the Apple Macbook range seem quite good. All the blurbs i've read seem to say that Apple Mac OS is the mutts nuts and oce bought people don't go back to Windows. Does anybody have experience of Apple computers and are they as good as they are made out to be? What are the pros and cons?

Apologies if this is a repost!! http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/Copperfield/ To remove the beaurocracy the ties this countries police forces up in unnecessary red tape and allow police to actually police rather than spend most of the shift doing paperwork; babysit troublesome kids or get bogged down with 'crimes' where someone doesn't like someone else's tone of voice etc!! You all know what I mean?! See a 'newspaper' article about the petition originator http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,1...510187,00.html Or read his blog.... if you haven't already: http://coppersblog.blogspot.com/

Good news from the CRE, Trevor Phillips may resign because his is cross at Gordon Brown for not having more black people, and females in his Cabinet. Phillips has made so many crass statements since heading the CRE, I'm surprised he has lasted as long as he has. He is obviously advocating positive descrimination because he wants Brown to put more blacks and females in the cabinet even if they don't have the same ability as others. It's time the CRE was abolished as it does very little good. Even one of Gordons black MP's has come out in defence of the PM against Phillips, who appears to have a huge chip on his shoulder about something. (If you read Police Oracle, pl…

I have just learned about this from another forum site. Ken Livingstone plans to shell out loads of cash for a mega mosque to be built close to the olympic site. The following address offers the chance to vote against it. Please pass this onto all your friends and contacts who might also express their opinion. http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/ScrapMegaMosque

Because of the EU in Brussels, 400 workers at Bowyers Meal Products, in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, are to lose their jobs. Bowyers make Melton Mowbury Pork Pies, but the idiots in Brussels say that they cannot call them Melton Mowbury Pork Pies, unless they are made within 40 miles of Melton Mowbury, so Bowyers are closing their factory and moving to Nottingham. The owners say they cannot make the pies and sell them under a different name, i.e Trowbridge Pork Pies, because the EU would fine them for selling Melton Mowbury Pies under a different name. I wonder which idiot in Brussels is responsible for this. Does that mean nobody can make Cheddar Cheese unless it is made wi…
