Hey folks I have used this exercise for several years now when I teach criminal profiling. It is not a terribly detailed account of a crime scene, but it serves the purpose of giving my students the opportunity to try to create a profile of the killer. Now I understand that you have not had the benefit of several weeks of lectures on this subject, but then you are police officers so you have your professional experience to draw on. It’s just a bit of fun really, but I thought it would be interesting to see if you guys are any better than my students efforts. So for those interested, draw forth themagnifying glass, don the deerstalker and strike up the mee…

Just a little question to my well informed mates on the forum. Is anyone jumping on the bandwagon here and going to claim their bank charges back for the last 6 years in England or 5 years in Scotland? (I know Free another disadvantage to being a WEEGIE!!!)... Anyway I've just spent 2 hours reading up on all the companies offering their expert assistance with your claims.I was just thinking that yes I will go ahead and claim. If anyone is interested in a do it yourself job have a look here www.moneysavingexpert.com where you can download the letters etc and adjust them accordingly or if you want the experts to do it for you just search Google with "how to claim bank charge…

After Teflon and Cherie left Lord Levy's sons reception, they were apparently flying off to Sir Cliff Richards holiday home, in Barbados. I wonder if this is another 'freebie', or as he is no longer PM, will he pay for it.

On a similar theme to Things that make you go eewwgh or ouch. What makes you gip? (You know... when you almost vomit... or blowing pseudo-chunks if you prefer!) With me it's the smell of fish and bananas.

The LLandudno Donkey Derby which has been held on the beach for the last 39 years, has had to be cancelled, guess why, HEALTH and SAFETY reasons. Children who were looking forward to riding in the races were told they could'nt, but could place inflateable sheep on the donkeys backs instead. The parents were happy to sign waivers on behalf of the children but the organizers would'nt allow it. More PC rears it's head.Maverick222007-07-28 14:34:57

Apologies if this has been done before... Being relatively new round here, I'm interested to know how you came about all your wonderful and sometimes obscure names... if you're willing to tell... I'll start... Around 10 years ago, I left the town I'd made home to take up a job with the Ministry of Defence. My friends at the time thought I was going to become a spy and started calling me 00Tim. Simple as that really.

Gordon Brown's sidekick, Ed Balls, who is Minister for Children says he does'nt like ASBO's, and says everytime one is used it can be regarded as a failure. We all know that as those issued with them re-offend nearly every time. Mr Balls wants to introduce a ''Youth Week'', and have a ''coming of age ceremony''. He does'nt say whats going to occur on this ''coming of age ceremony'', will every one get a little present from HMG, or a framed certificate, or take some kind of oath at number 10. Sounds like a load of BALLS to me.

Perhaps a copy of the attached should be given to every person entering the UK. Where it mentions Australia, insert Britain etc etc. Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia, as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks. A day after a group of mainstream Muslim leaders pledged loyalty to Australia and her Queen at a special meeting with Prime Minister John Howard, he and his Ministers made it clear that extremists would face a crackdown. Treasurer Peter Costello, seen as heir apparent to Howard, hinted that some radical clerics could be asked to leave the coun…

An article in the Observer indicates that 1 in 15 senior officers are under investigation for Criminal or Disciplinary matters, and that at the present time 100 Superintendents are under investigation. The offences vary from allowing a couple to be murdered in Lincolnshire, to sexual descrimination or harrasment. Nice to know it's not just Pc's and Sgt's who are in the mire. A spokesperson said that criminals were making complaints against senior officers in order to try and diminish their own crimes, and deflect from their own positions.

Saw this this morning I have a 2 and a half year old little boy, and the thought of losing him or him being taken makes my blood run cold. However, the prospect of these devices being a common occurrence strikes me as ridiculous. If we look at the statistics (I know they can lie and be manipulated) however, it is very clear from these figures that the chance of your child being abducted by a complete stranger is tiny, I believe it is about 4% of all accountable disappearances, 96% are by family, friends and other associates. Would these devices help then I tend to think not. What has happened recently with little Madeleine is a parents worst nightmare, how…

I watched the programme about The Beckhams move to the US tonight ...... i have never liked this woman ,but after watching this crap i actually felt nauseous ! She makes my blood boil and my skin crawl ......so little talent and not THAT great looking , and totally up her own ass ! There is only one thing worse than "nouveau Riche" and that is "nouveau riche" with a limited IQ as we see repeatedly from her !!! I notice that the US networks cancelled the remaining 9 shows in the series about her life after a savaging from the critics . The US are welcome to her and her pathetic self obsession .......

The Daily Record a Glasgow based newspaper(rag)is trying to stir up trouble. Brian Sweeney, Strathclyde Fire and Rescue Chief attended the Glasgow Airport, Jeep fire, with his nine year old son, the Record printed a story that the son hindered the attempts to put out the fire and that he erased details off a blackboard, of where Fire Engines were located. Police and Firebrigade witnesses say that the son sat in a police car most of the time and was moved to the Command Vehicle once the fire was out, where he sat until his father was ready to leave. Witnesses say that at no time did he go anywhere near the blackboard or hinder any operations. I wonder who the reporter wa…
