A respected research outfit has stated that just one puff from a cannabis fag can increase the likelihood of mental illness by 40%. Does that mean that this country is being run by metally ill people as half the Cabinet have admitted smoking the pot.

I have spent 4 hours this morning assembling a swinging garden chair that my wife informed me was arriving via parcel force as she exited the front door to go to work this morning. Thirty minutes later it arrived. Right I thought, tool box out, lets crack on and get this job knocked off as quickly as possible. I open the box, and can only think that somehow the plans for the space shuttle had been put into the box by mistake!!! To make matters worse, it must have been an oriental space shuttle because the assembly instructions were in Chinese!!! To top this off, there was one huge bag full of a mixture of bolts, nuts, washers, clips and screws of various sizes, none of w…

Whilst Gloucester is under water and our drinking water has been cut off. All of which you can see in pictures. This quote almost makes it worth it; "Police confirmed that HMP Gloucester which is situated near the docks, would not be evacuated in the event of flooding." Does that mean they're just going to let them drown in the event of flooding then? If so, we have an instant empty prison for all the that are thieving & looting empty homes & cars, a couple of hundred less oxygen thieves & an instant boon to the undertaker business. Tony Blairs leaving do, the junket around the world saying good-bye to people, cost the British Taxpayers 1.6 million pound. That would have paid for quite a few extra Police Officers or Nurses, but when it is'nt your money, does it matter, obviously not to Teflon. He should be made to pay it all back, he could have sent an en block e-mail to all his mates and saved the country a fortune. I don't suppose Mrs Blair made a donation towards it.

Down in Surrey is a place called Headley Court. Its a sort of Goring for squaddies and is very busy right now as you may imagine. Service charitys are trying to buy a large local house in Grays Lane Ashtead to house families on short term visits to see their injured loved ones. Local NIMBYs have raised 80 odd letters to complain Mainly because it will attract Ghastly terrorists apparently The local council are set to deny planning permission on wednesday Needless to say the squaddie website ARRSE (the people who overturned the FCO's decison to keep PUN VC out of the country) has gone balisitc and is fighting a rear guard action that makes ZULU look like an eistedf…
