Click There have been warnings of our society becoming segregated, but I think most people presumed it would be against muslim people, not from them. It's amazing how easily certain people can manipulate others to side with them by playing on their fears, helped along by an indigenous society doing its best to pretend nothing is happening. It will be a hard job to convince people that their fears, on both sides, are unfounded, but it's going to have to be done to avoid these fears getting out of hand.Graham2008-01-06 06:48:04

While clearing out my loft ready for selling up my house, I found a small suitcase containing some items left by a great aunt of mine when she died. Among some stuff that was mainly junk, there was a fairly worn but ornate pair of ladies' (or very small men's) leather gloves in a silk bag. I assumed they were my aunt's, perhaps from the 1920s or 30s, but allowed a friend to take them with her to show to an acquaintance to have a look at who knew about old textiles (having worked in the past at the Victoria & Albert Museum). It was thought they may be Victorian. I was phoned last night and told that they were quite a bit older even than that, specifically …

Anyone watched the documentary tonight on ch 4? I feel sorry the gran who is missing her grandson and has resorted to buying a baby doll. I was a little surprised with the other woman's attitude when she found a crack on her new baby dolls head. I assume this is all better than bringing a real baby into the world...for those who are not prepared for the full responsibility of parenthood. They look very cute. But want the real thing.......

While on his morning walk, Prime Minister Gordon Brown falls over, has a heart attack and dies because the accident and emergency dept at his nearest hospital is too understaffed to treat him in time. So his soul arrives in Heaven and he is met by Saint Peter at the Pearly Gates. "Welcome to Heaven," says Saint Peter, "Before you settle in, it seems there is a problem. We seldom see a Socialist around these parts, so we're not sure what to do with you." "No problem, just let me in; I'm a good Christian; I'm a believer,"says the PM. "I'd like to just let you in, but I have orders from God Himself. He says that since the implementation of his new HEAVEN CHOICES po…

This is one of those subjects that most people have a view or opinion on – whether negative or positive. With everyone’s permission, I will make a number of postings over the coming weeks which hopefully will go some way to giving an explanation of this subject. The explanation will I trust will appeal to all. I will try and explain what the topic entails; coupled to this the Legal aspect of the topic – i.e. evidence and disclosure etc., This latter aspect may take a bit longer To begin: Most of the ‘Nicks’ in the Merseyside, Lancashire, Cheshire and GMP Forces (and a few in the MET) have a copy of my ‘conjoined leaflets’ displayed on their Officer Interests Noti…

Try this one guys - how does it work???? YOUR AGE BY EATING OUT Don't tell me your age; you probably would tell a falsehood anyway-but your waiter may know! YOUR AGE BY DINER & RESTAURANT MATH This is pretty neat. DON'T CHEAT BY SCROLLING DOWN FIRST! It takes less than a minute. Work this out as you read ... Be sure you don't read the bottom until you've worked it out! This is not one of those waste of time things, it's fun. 1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to go out to eat. (more than once but less than 10) 2. Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold) 3. Add 5 4. Multiply it by 50 5. If you have already had your…
