http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/highlands_and_islands/7291583.stm Am I missing something here, why can't she just wear flat shoes, or shoes with ordinary heels. Is there a problem walking half a mile in high heels. What is the connection between the walking and the fact she is wearing a Jacket and Skirt. Is the woman a bit on the 'dimp' side.Maverick222008-03-13 08:15:51

http://www.policeoracle.com/news/Judges-Warning-After-Child-Abuse-Mistakes_16202.html That Doctor Marietta Higgs has alot to answer for. It's a total disgrace that she has been allowed to continue as a GP. She was responsible for the start of all this abuse business, causing grief to hundreds of parents in the Cleveland area. All the parents were completely exonerated in the end, after a less than diligent enquiry by Judge Dame Butler-Sloss(or should it be slosh)who was pretty obviously on the side of the female doctor Higgs, with the weak summary of her actions. Higgs should have been banned for life from practicing as a GP.

There is good news and bad news, first the good news. I stopped in Corley services today, and walked over to a 4x4 with a Highways agency officer sitting in it. I advertised this site to her, a charming lady, she said she would pop in, so hard to find nice HATO about :whistle2:. Secondly, on a totaly differnt note. The bad news, this piece of news will not turn up in any newspaper, or anywhere in the media. Some might say this is the dictionary definition of criminal, rather then the legal term. This piece of news may well be the very worst thing to hit the Met in the past several years. Considering you are all Police officers, a bit of detective work might be in order.…

Just to explain to everyone where the thread has gone to ... It was getting way out of hand and it has been removed from the forum There may be times where only a few posts are removed or we try and repair a thread gone way off track, however I felt it more appropriate to remove it, in it's entirety. We do try and let members know what actions we take and rather then try and pm each and everyone of you I felt it best to post this

Today I retired. This morning, I turned off my alarm clock at 6am for the last time. After a busy day, I handed over my warrant card, name badge and cleared my computer drive and email account. There was a bit of a presentation. My colleagues clubbed together and bought me some book tokens which I put towards a dictionary. I gave a little speech with some funny anecdotes. My missus bought me an iPod Classic MP4 player which I can't work out how to use and my youngest daughter made a poster saying "well done on your retirement". It doesn't seem 5-minutes since I walked into the classroom for the first time on the first day - 30-years ago. This probably sounds funny,…
