Huntley should be allowed to get n with it, he would be no loss to society, infact it would save the country millions.

He must be very mixed up in his small brain, I for one have no sympathy for him/her.

I've been looking to make a cheap, solo 3-day business trip to Denmark next month and have booked a return flight to Copenhagen Airport and car hire. So who do you reckon would be the cheapest? The prestige operators? Or the budget airlines? Well, I got a surprise! First, I tried the Ryan Air site. Yes, they flights were cheap and they fly from Birmingham, which is accessible - BUT, having landed, I would have had to have driven right across North Jutland to the other end of Denmark to get to my destination, and paid about forty quid both ways to cross Storebælt's bridge. With that and the petrol, I worked it out it would have come to around £340. Hmm. Not as cheap…

It is reported that Portuguese prosecutors are considering "Child neglect " charges against The McCanns. Their official spokesman Clarence Mitchell ( Ex BBC reporter .... unpaid but no doubt will be writing the sensational book in return ) states ; ...."Legally speaking everything they were doing that week was well within the bounds of responsible parenting." Unbelievable arrogance ....... if you leave 3 young children alone in a strange appartment whilst you live the Dolce Vita with your friends ......that is in my mind neglect of a child. They have no sympathy from me ....... exmetskipper2008-05-29 11:54:05

Listening to LBC radio's Nick Ferrari on 17/04/08, he talked about the expectation that petrol prices here in Britain may well reach £1.50 per litre/£6.80 per gallon by this summer. A correspondent on his programme said she'd already noticed petrol at £1.34 per litre in the Chelsea area of London. Light crude oil, from which petrol & diesel is made, is currently US$117 per barrel. Ferrari went on to interview a man who led protests in the 1990's, when fuel prices were due to go up to 70p per litre. The government of the day said the protestors' fears were unfounded. What happened, then? The interviewee said that he thought the protests he led …

Well, it has been reported yesterday that the much vaunted, 'All Singing, All Dancing' NHS IT system to cover Patient Records and Doctors Appointment Booking is on the skids. "Government spending watchdog, the National Audit Office, is to investigate a £6.2bn programme to install a computer system at the NHS. The study will assess how the system was chosen and whether it offers value for money. The system is designed to link every GP's surgery and hospital in England and provide online records for up to 50 million patients". .... and ... I notice it's your birthday today, & you're the grand old age of 6! Just think, double figures soon!!! I've put this here as I'm not sure if it actually is your birthday & I doubt very much you're 6..... If it is your birthday then have a good one & don't eat too many sweeties or too much cake. Six year olds tend not to be aware of their limits Girl*Next*Door2008-04-14 14:32:12

click Tragic. A couple of years back we had a spate of kids on mini-motos and I felt like a right spoil sport when reporting them to the local nick or the PCSO, but they are dangerous on the footpaths, for those riding them (one nearly fell off his bike into the road in front of me) and for pedestrians.
